What a cutie!

Hey! Don't leave me out! You know who I want to see (again)!

I need to take a look at your blogs sometime. It seems I get on here, get distracted and log out before I have time to look a little more on the forum. Hopefully I can read them real soon!

Very true!!!

Ok, CAH needs a dose of Sir Paul, again!!! :)

I have seen Journey, I love Steve Perrys voice. My first big concert was Def Leppard in 1983. Billy Squier opened, remember him? I love that you still have ticket stubs. I wish I had all of mine. I have been to so many I don't even remember them all, lol. One thing I do have is a signed album from Ozzy Osbourne, I met him at a local radio station.

I like some Billy Squier songs, especially this one:

Good morning,

Doing my usual Wednesday routine, (whining and crying about not wanting to go to work) even though it's Tuesday. Have my monthly inventory tonight, you know how hard it is to stand in a -10*f freezer counting everything, I do thats why I have someone else count that. cheesy I do it also, but your fingertips freeze trying to write with a pencil.
Just finishing up "The Night They Saved Christmas" now, started it last Wednesday, and finally have the time to watch the rest of it now. I want to set up my tree now. cheesy I really need to get this DVD, along with Will Vinton's Claymation Christmas, those will be the next Christmas DVD's I add to my collection.

I need to start getting things ready for work.

Steve Perry does have a great voice and his replacement, Arnel Pineda is amazing as well! I can't believe how much he sounds like Steve! I do remember Billy Squier and still hear his music on the radio station we listen to. That is cool you have Ozzy's autograph! I am not into his music but he is funny!

I met Pantera but never was a fan, not knocking the music, I just wasn't into them. A few of my friends were huge fans and we went to a mall for autograph's in the early 80's. It was before they became big and we were the only ones there at that time to get an autograph! Lol! I didn't even know who they were at the time but I still have all their autographs. My friends got to know them and even got to know Poison and hung out backstage with them when they came in town. Currently a few of my friends hang out with Vinnie Paul of Pantera from time to time at the clubs around here. They have pictures posted on facebook with him. I went to a lot of concerts in the 80's but never joined my friends to any backstage events, I had a boyfriend at the time and not sure I should be hanging out with those guys for the wild parties! They met other bands as well, Kiss, Bon Jovi and more but only got to know Poison and Pantera personally.

All during that time during "hair band" days I was always a die hard Beatles fan! I liked quite a few bands then but don't listen to them that much these days. Still listening to the Beatles though!

Happy Tuesday everyone. This is a big day in Christmas history. On this day in 1942, Bing Crosby first recorded "White Christmas" for the movie "Holiday Inn', (great movie).

My mom is back in the hospital with more complications from her cancer. She has been there since Wednesday. Not sure when she will get to come home. It is not looking good.

Nasty hot weather is now here. We are looking at highs of 81-82 the rest of this week. Still looking forward to vacation 6/26 - 7/4. Once that is over, I'm ready for fall.

Have a blessed day everyone.

I love Bing Crosby! What a great song he did!

I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I will continue to pray.

I with you about the Beatles. Got to see McCartney in Dallas in the early 90's. Of course, he was fantastic. I'm also a Who & Stones fan but no rock/pop composers compare to Lennon/McCartney.

Thanks for the little bit of Christmas trivia.

I will keep your mother in my thoughts.

Great to see you again! I'm sorry to hear about your mom. We're still praying for her.

I had a chance to see The Who at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas in the early 80's but I wanted a perm. My mom said she won't give me money for both. Either a perm or tickets to see The Who. I chose a perm. It came out awful looking! I should have seen The Who. I am not their #1 fan or anything but they are legendary!

My first time to see McCartney was in 2009 at Cowboys Stadium. Now I'm hooked!

I can't blame you though, even Roger Daltrey had a perm in the 80's. cheesy

I believe he actually recorded it live on MTV with the VJ's singing backup in the very early 80's.

I love that song!! It's on my playlist ;)

We've been to many concerts, as well!! They are always so much fun!!

We keep the tickets stubs, some in a memory box, and some we frame. Adrian uses some old albums, or CD's, and either has them framed by a friend of ours, or some he does on his own from displays he buys at stores, like Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

Our basement family room here is his room, where he can decorate w/ his favorite memorabilia.

I know that listening to The Move will make your day!

Good evening,

Very busy day here, got up and mowed and trimmed the yard. Had a cookout with all the fixin's, but we forgot to cook our corn on the cob. I hate when we do that. I am exhausted, I work my late shift tomorrow for inventory and have Wednesday off. Just listening to some rare recordings of The Move I discovered online awhile back, some amazing stuff.

Headed to sleep soon.

Good night MMC!

Thanks, Snowflake. Not sure what is wrong, just no energy. I slept most of the day yesterday and still went to bed at the regular time. I feel somewhat better but not 100%.

Seawaters, I hope this morning finds you feeling better. Thinking of you.

xx
