Christmas Countdown - 2013

Well, it is supposed to be 113 today. Can I hear a triple ugh here? The air conditioner came on hours ago and it is only 7:35 or so. I will try to keep my complaining to a minimum this summer. I can tell it will be a hot one for us. We don't have much humidity, but after a certain point, it's all bad! I have lots to do today, so I will pop in and out all day. Have a great Milestone Day, everyone!

Me and brandi's first wedding anniversary is on Sunday.

Good for you! Awesome. Here's to a great anniversary! (Little hint...let her be late for thing that don't matter....but on things that do matter, tell her a time that's 30 minutes early....banquets that are starting at 7:00, I always tell wifey 6:30....she gets mad when she realizes it, but at least we are on time)

Wow.

200 days?

Wow.

This is the time of year I start getting really excited. My thoughts turn to Christmas, especially during June and July. After July 4th, I'm in full Christmas mode. I'm so excited. We are really having to fight the urge to go to Hobby Lobby to look to see if anything is out. I want to soooooo bad.

Going to work out in the yard today. I need to mow, but I really need to work in my flower beds and pull some weeds. I love flowers, etc....BUT I HATE WEEDING THE FLOWER BED. After that, I think I will make out a menu and go get us some groceries and do some cooking.

Just curious...I wonder when it's too soon to start making sausage balls and some other Christmas related items and freezing them. Anybody know?

There's a rainbow right outside our window this morning ...



... so the rest of the vacay should go smoothly. Vacay AND the 200-day window at the same time!

We're just getting showered and dressed for the day, so we haven't seen the manager yet. We'll see him, get some breakfast, get a new suitcase, and show Gloria how to use an iPad.

I'll get caught up on the news here later.

I hope you are having some wonderful celebrations on fantastic occasion. Only 200 days remain until we can all rejoice and reflect on a beautiful Christmas morning spent with family, friends and loved ones around our Christmas Trees. Until then, we can all enjoy the summer weather.

Have an extra special milestone Saturday. The weekend and 200 day mark go hand-in-hand!

Me three! We drove by a Hobby Lobby on our way to Cazenovia, NY last weekend. Had I been at the wheel, I would have made a quick turn into the plaza in hopes to find a little Christmas!
