The sun is back. Supposedly no thunderstorms today---that's good news!

We're supposed to be moved to a different part of the office building next week (the other end of the floor). I'm going to miss my windowsill, where I put my little barn, unless they put me next to another window. I'm a stick-in-the-mud who doesn't like to move when I'm content where I am, but management is remodeling, and I don't have any say in this! I'll also miss my spring/fall sunbeam, which falls across my desk in the late morning when the seasons change.

Oh man!!! I hope you get by another window!!!! That's part of the reason I quit my job 13 years ago - I cold not handle not seeing outside (zero windows) all day, every day!!!! I'm an outdoor person...it made me crazy(er)!! Lol!!! :rudolph: Hope you end up with an ever better spot!!!

Good morning everyone. We are dog/house sitting for my in-laws, so I was surrounded by fur babies last night! There were our two, Happy and Holly. Then, Haley (a sweet bichon frise) and Harley (a grumpy Maltese). When I left this morning my wife was still in bed with Happy beside her, his head on one shoulder, Holly laying up next to her on the other shoulder, and Haley and Harley on either side, too. Spoiled dogs!
Hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

That is precious Ryan, I love it!

Really saddened that my favorite author, Vince Flynn, has passed away. There was almost a decade where I did not read fiction. Then, one day, on a whim, I picked up Vince’s first book Term Limits and loved it! I read every book he had up to that point in order they were released. Now, every year I wait for the new Flynn thriller to come out (and they are always released in the fall, usually in October!). He seemed like a good man, and I am praying for his wife and children.

Good morning!! Happy Pines Day!! For us, it's Happy 1st Pre-Fest Party Day!! Tonight we brown 25 lb of burger & chop 20 lb of onion for our chili party. Snacks & drinks at our house...come on over on your way to or home from the pines!!!

WOW! it would take forever - years - if hubby did our cabinets!! Lol! He doesn't get home from work until 8:00 most nights the way it is!! Lucky you!!! I'm sure it will be beautiful!!! You will have to post pictures!

I hope the vet appt. went well?

42?? Brrr!! It was 53 this morning for my walk & Brrrrrr!!! I did get a lot of cleaning/organizing done last night, but as always - there is more to do...

I hope your brother can get there & catch it - FAST!! You poor thing!!! I would be sleeping with all lights on!!! Lol! Nice find on the jazz music!

You go girl!!!

It takes all kinds! Good for you!!!!

You are lucky one too, having your hubby do it! You wil have to post pics when it's done too!!

I need to make this again. I made it once & it was very, very good!!!

Welcome back!!! Happy reading!!!!

Have a good day! Thanks for checking in!!!

I was freezin on my morning walk! I didn't even look at ther thermometer before I went out in shorts & a T! I was so cold by the time I got home my right arm was almost numb - I could hardly blow my nose - my hand didn't want to work to grab a tissue! LOL!!! I took an airborne after - I don't want to get a cold or sick this weekend before the festival!!! It would have been an awesome walk if I had a long sleeve T! I'm glad you enjoyed your walk!!!

Love it!!!

That's an invitation I can't refuse!! See you tonight, my friend ;)

Sorry to hear that, Ryan. His family is in my thoughts & prayers.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

We did our trip to Statesboro yesterday, including Wal-Mart, then we had supper at Shane's Rib Shack. Now that's some good BBQ! I still don't have the nerve to eat pork, but their smoked chicken is great, and their choice of sauce is super spicy...just right!

I have a little work to do after work today, then I hope to go over to my brother's shop. I haven't seen the Camaro in a couple weeks. I think I'm suffering from car withdrawals.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

our sun is back again today too!
Maybe you will end up with an even better spot! Management must of got wind of your sunbeam and wanted it for themselves!

wow, he was only 47 years old. As someone here said already, cancer sucks!

Busy morning here again! I baked biscuits of breakfast that we enjoyed with eggs and cheese. Clipped a bunch of chives and got them in the dehydrator. Chicken is baking in the oven. Wahed all my bedding and it is now hanging on the line outside.
Best of all I finally have access to the instructors web site for teaching the Wilton method cake decorating classes! So that means my course material should be here soon. I am so looking forward to learning this and start teaching.

I love having my own carpet steamer, so quick and easy to get the job done! just did my bedroom and hall carpet. This cleaner has a touch of fabreeze in it so it also smells great!

You are so right, Snowflake. Hubby had to take our Baby back to the vet because he found a growth on her neck. He checked for thyroid, but that came back negative. Hubby should be back soon. I am hoping we do not have to make any decision and that she will be all right.

Yes, it is. They are so loving & sweet. She sounds like such a trooper, though. And lucky to have such a caring Mom. Extra hugs & prayers for her tonight. Please keep us posted.

 Actually, they're moving us out of this wing while they remodel. The other wing is nearly finished, so they're moving us over there. I don't know if they're planning to leave us there, or if they'll move us back once the remodeling is complete.

I've got a feeling you're going to be a marvellous teacher!
