I am trying to work out what to do with my outdoor display this year, its a question of do i go big with it or just something subtle!

What do your neighbors do? If they're subtle, go big ... if they go big, be subtle. You'll stand out.

On the other hand, you can't go wrong with big. That's what celebrating is about.

I've been playing Kringle radio all morning and planning my christmas displays. the sun is surprisingly hot for Wales!. I do miss the winter months and a hint of snow

Thanks. Prayers are need and much appreciated. Its been a 14 year fight with colon cancer and she is a tough lady. Now her goal is to be able to visit Myrtle Beach on Labor Day weekend. She wants to see the ocean again.

Wow! 2 days in a row of posting! Yay me! =)

My son-in-law's job was cancelled today so the kids will not be coming over. I hope to get some things done around here and maybe can pop in on here throughout the day. (We will see).

I forgot to mention that we have a little thrift store up the road that has an annual Christmas in July sale every year. I had completely forgot about it and got a call from my dad, he was there shopping for other stuff and told me about it. Wayne and I headed over there after I hung up with my him and they had lots of Christmas goodies out. Good prices and I wanted a lot but refrained! I seriously have way too much Christmas stuff and just don't need anymore. It's nice to look at it all no matter what. We still buy our annual Christmas ornament every year for the tree.

Our church celebrates Christmas in July every year for a senior citizen home. I have yet to be able to attend it. I hope I can this year.

Same here only time i really liked the summer is when i was a kid. We lived in base housing at the time and i would roam all over the base from sunup to sundown with no worries at all. Now a days i hate the sun and would rather hide in a cave like the Mole man from FF4

Good morning all. Well, I was supposed to be off work tomorrow but just got word I'm going to need to come in. That's alright. Tomorrow is, however, our 10th anniversary. My wife has put up with me for a whole decade! For that, she deserves a medal (and one for just being an all around wonderful wife and mother! cheesy).

Since I thought I had tomorrow off I was planning on taking my son to see the Lone Ranger (my daughter has denounced it as a "boy movie" and refuses to watch). Even though I have to be up early tomorrow, I think I'll still take him.

Good morning!
It is going to be cloudy this morning with a chance of showers and a high of 85. Its so humid. My hair was straight when I left to walk the dogs and I came back with curly hair, lol. I need to straighten it again!
Anyway, not too much going on today. A couple of quick errands and then daily chores. I also have to rsvp to a couple of parties that are coming up. I'm kind of bummed out that I have a party on July 27th and also on the 28th. I feel bad saying that. It's not that I don't want to go to the parties, I just wish they were a different weekend. I'm afraid I won't have too much time to spend on here celebrating CIJ. And to top it off, that is my birthday weekend. Oh well, I'll see how it goes. I'll just have to sneak on here whenever I can!

Thank you, Shellie! Actually, there are times when I believe there is a ghost in this house, esp. when I saw a stack of plates move over a few inches seemingly all by themselves! The unwanted visitor is/was a snake!!!

What are you all up to? I am enjoying the Christmas movies & beautiful weather here. I also am reviewing my Dream Book to see the must haves for Hallmark's ornament premiere on Saturday

Adrian bought a kayak & has been having fun taking it on local lakes & has a big plan to take it down the Mississippi from here to LaCrosse. An @ 14 hour trip! Talk about ambitious!!

I have some good news to share. I took my WI State Real Estate sales exam last night & passed! So excited!! It was a four hour exam, and the testing experience was a wild ride in itself. I guess all of the hard work & studying paid off. Next step is applying for my license, and working on my résumé. Yay!

Adrian & I are going out to celebrate tomorrow night.

Had a storm roll through last night and temperatures dropped. I have all the doors and windows open this morning letting the fresh cool air go through the house.

Sounds like the same weather we had! Nasty storms came through after all the heat & humidity, but today it's gorgeous!!! I did not want to come into work today...to nice outside!!!


Good morning everyone!!! I love it when I have time to check in here early in my work day! What a great way to start the day!! We got our 5:30 am walk in this morning - what a beautiful morning! Like I said - it was hard to come into work! Could have sat on the patio & drank coffee allll morning!!! Darn! Last night I got our new walk-in-closet painted (1st coat) then I had to run out to the lake b/c our neighbors texted & said we had some damage from the storm. It was nothing major...just needed to pop the skirting around our trailer back in place in a few spots & put poles back under our pontoon cover! Wew! And pick up flower pots that all blew over! I stopped at our garden (at my parents) to see what our corn looked like...it's all blown over! But hopefully it will come back. It was looking soooo nice!! Then I jogged on the treamill while watching Christmas Song...but I watched the ending from my recliner. Ahhhh! I am just loving these Christmas movies every night!!! I would love it if we had this option of a Christmas movie on tv at night - even just once a week from now until Christmas! I know I can always watch a dvd or netflix...but it's not the same. I like watching the same movie with all you yahoo's!! Anyway....make it a great day everyone!!!

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a nice day here with a high near 80. A lot nicer than the last couple of days!!! Not much going on here today. Just a few errands to run and then back home back home to listen to my buddy whine some more. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!
