Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a hot one here with a high of 87. They said on the news that it's going to fill like 100 every day this week. So I'm going to be camped out n front of my A/C. Not much going on today. I have to run a few errands with my sister and niece's this morning then it will be back home to watch Hallmark and the nascar race. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

It rained all day yesterday, and it's been raining all morning today. I would love to do some bass fishing this afternoon, but it doesn't look likely.

I've been watching Home Alone 1 & 2 on ABC Family all weekend. If that doesn't make you feel Christmassy, I don't know what will!

Howdy! To add to the, "I hate summer", it's been so hard on my dog Chico who has congestive heart failure. He is struggling to breath and really has had me worried this week. I keep him in ice cold air conditioning but that brief moment he has to go outside to do his business wipes him out and takes forever to get his breath back again.

MerryCarey, we still love you for enjoying summer! If I lived where you are at, I would enjoy it too!!!! =) Can I bring Chico with me for the summer to your house? He would probably feel better!!!

It has been an emotional roller coaster this week with my little doggy. I have taken him to the vet twice for his condition. We took him in Monday and the vet said all looks good considering what he is going through. I observed him all week and wasn't satisfied with what the vet said so we took him back Friday and the vet said he of course has a terminal heart condition but still holding his own and not critical. He didn't even charge me for the visit on Friday and he was swamped that day, he should have charged me double! lol. Bless his heart! I love the vet so this was no knock at his judgement, it was me being paranoid and unsure if Chico was really okay! The reassurance Friday was a help but I still worry of course.

awe the poor dear, never fun for anyone to be sick.

here too. It is 27c (80f) already and not even noon yet.
I too plan to stay close to my air conditioner as much as possible.

Perhaps! But having a July birthday, and a neighbor with a swimming pool when I was little, and growing up in a safe neighborhood where I could ride around on my bike and chase fireflies after dark, and a hometown that had a carnival and a parade and fireworks, and not having to go to school (where I got plenty of verbal and physical bullying) ... I have many happy associations with summertime, and they come back to me when it's sunny and warm outside.

Mind you, if we didn't have window A/Cs in our bedroom and TV room, I'd feel differently.

I'm so sorry the summer heat is making things difficult for Chico. You could bring him here, but you'd have to come along to babysit while we're at work! The binder of Christmas DVDs is on top of a DVD cupboard by the TV set. And I just bought a bag of Archway gingersnaps. Give my love to Chico.

Happy Milestone Day!
I am at the doctors office waiting to have my blood drawn again. I've been having some issues that make me suspect I may have other food allergies on top of the Celiac Disease. I'm hoping to get the results back soon. Not too much else going on today. The dogs have a groomer appointment later this morning. And I may take a ride to Trader Joes this afternoon for a few things. Other than that daily chores. Have a great day!!!

Hugs to wee chico. so unfair on animals i not caring that much about warm weather either. but your trying every thing you can and hope that helps.. such a nice vet you ave , most wood take the hand of you . am sure hes right in what he says but you hate to see them like that and you cant help but worry
