What better way to celebrate a milestone day than with some VERY early Christmas blossom pics?
The town were were in, Guthrie, has quite a few home decor and antique shops. I found this vintage Santa in one of the windows (sorry about the glare).

Happy 66% day!!! (to the season we all adore)

It's HOT!

I went out and mowed the yard, I was melting like Frosty. Now I have a headache from the heat that won't go away.

Tomorrow we will be able to listen to Christmas music on Music Choice Wooohooo!

Thanks for the photos, too! Around here, I haven't stumbled onto any July Christmas blossoms. I'll have to visit Michaels, JoAnn's and A.C. Moore to see if they have the spirit yet. I just finished a Christmas afghan and have been making winter hats for Friends of Boston Homeless.

I'm a creature of habit, and we always start putting up the Christmas village on Thanksgiving night.

The rest of the Christmas decorations, including the trees, start going up the following day.

That being said, I may just start putting some things out before Thanksgiving!!! You are so right....I've got to make up for that time that we lost =]

Ryan, we have a bunch of old houses in town here, but this is the one that looks like it is straight out of The Addams Family or The Munsters. It is an old mansion that was damaged by the tornado in 2011, shortly afterwards they had an estate sale and my wife and I stopped by to be nosey to see what it looks like inside, it is just as creepy inside as it is outside.

It is such a unique house, it looks so out of place in this town now, I always pictured this one as a haunted house.

I can't comment objectively because I LOVE Victorian mansions.
They are all beautiful to me!
