Hey everyone!

Can you believe it snowed here yesterday? For all of about 20 minutes and then it turned to rain and melted it all away! Well, at least snow showed up for a minute or two. And finally after a week of rain (with 20 minutes of snow) it is sunshiny sparkly blue skies today. It is so nice to see the sun again! I had almost forgotten what it looked like:grin:. And my husband and I have a truly romantic weekend planned....we're doing our taxes! Whoo Hoo!! We have been preparing for it all week. Add that to the fact that he just started his first week of his MBA program and you can almost feel the level of joy in our house. Hope everyone has a great day!!

I am always disappointed because we NEVER get snow!

We were very disappointed in the weather yesterday. It got cold, the sky clouded up....and it didn't snow a single flake. Bah!

Yup, I agree with that, another big disappointment. I cannot figure it out why we cannot get any snow at all??

Here's a thought,
Maybe it's due to our proximity to Washington DC (about 50 miles away)!

With all those wind bags down there, running their tater traps, blowing alot of hot air around and doing nothing but spending our money, it's disrupting the jet stream up here.....lol

I'm getting back into some reading in my course book today, doing some laundry, and hanging with Harlowe. Adrian is at a meeting in Minneapolis, so just thinking about what to make for dinner for when he gets home. Hmmmm...

What are you up to?

We got @ an inch of snow overnight, but a lot of it has already melted =[

Harlowe & I had fun kicking it around on our walk this morning, though!

I have tons of family in the suburbs of Minneapolis, so I know we'll be there often, such a fun city! That's One of the reasons we picked Eau Claire, it's 90 miles away from his bosses house, 90 miles away from both of our families, and about an hour away from the Minneapolis area. Adrian needs a big city nearby!

I love their rostii potatoes, sausage bread, homemade catsup, and their coffee is excellent!!!

We will soon be going down to the Elks Lodge for a carnitas feed in a few moments. We drove to Chico but I did not get the you-know-what bra. Believe it or not, I have to have a prescription for it!!! Otherwise, it will cost me between $300-$400!!!
