I haven't given an update on my niece lately. Her arthritis had been starting to go into remission but over the last couple of months the infusion med she was on has seemed to stop working. I guess it's pretty common with this med after a year. So today she starts an even stronger med and it's effects are pretty scary. It will almost completely suppress her immune system. So if you guys could keep her in your thought's, I'd appreciate it.

We got some upsetting news at work today! Our biggest customer (we have been making parts for them for 15+ years) has found a cheaper way to have their parts made & will be leaving us after November!! UGH! We can't come close to making the parts for what they will be getting them for - of course it's overseas! Hopefully the boss man can find something to take their place or we will all be looking for a job. This product was a full time job for 4 guys & a lot of my work too! UGH UGH UGH!!!

We can't come close to making the parts for what they will be getting them for - of course it's overseas! Hopefully the boss man can find something to take their place or we will all be looking for a job. This product was a full time job for 4 guys & a lot of my work too! UGH UGH UGH!!!

Our Saturday at Fenway is looking better and better! We'll be seeing two friends we haven't seen for a little over a year---they accepted our invitation to join us (Mr. was given four free tickets). So far the weather forecast looks good. It's only a minor-league game (they do this once a year---it's called Futures at Fenway), but we have access to a luxury box, and it's always a good time. (We have to buy our own food and beverages, though.)

Good morning!
It is going to be hazy, hot and humid again today with a chance of thunderstorms. The local news keeps talking about the heatwave finally being over. I don't know, it is still too hot for me and way too uncomfortable outside. I tried to walk the dogs late last night and they started to pant so bad that I took turns carrying them again. People must think I'm crazy, lol. It's not even worth going, I need some cooler temperatures!!
My youngest isn't feeling well. I am going to make a doctor appointment today, not sure whats going on with her. She had an invitation to spend the week at a beach house with one of her girlfriends and the girls family. They left yesterday and she's disappointed that she didn't go. If the doctor says she is well enough and she feels good, I could still send her. I just have to put her on a ferry and they will be there waiting for her. So we'll see what happens.
Anyway, not too much going on for me today. I have a few phone calls to make and I also need to order books for my middle daughters nursing program. I must order them today because she has a summer packet to do and I want her to have a few weeks to pace herself and get the homework done.

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be another hot day here with a high in the upper 80's and high humidty. I can't wait until the real cold front arrives tomorrow!! I actually slept last night so maybe I can get some stuff done today instead of sitting around in groggy haze. My buddy started a new job yesterday working 8 to 5 so I won't be hearing from him as much anymore. That will free up some more time for me. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
