Good evening,

It is late, I tried going through every page while I was gone but I don't think that will happen. I still have 63 pages to go just to catch up. I will post more about our trip tomorrow, and I will have pictures posted of the lake and the great Christmas store that is up there in Lake George. I still have three days off before I return to work.

Good night all.

It's a personal project. Mr. and I put together a DVD of Christmas-themed movie and TV clips each year. This year will be the fifth one. Before that, we compiled CDs of funny or unusual or rare Christmas audio for ten years. It's something for more-than-a-card-but-less-than-a-gift friends, or a little something extra to tuck in with a gift.

Thanks for the compliment on the afghan! Try crochet sometime. It really isn't very hard, and there are tons of instructional videos on YouTube that make it very easy to learn.

Your yuletube is such a good idea. It's the perfect little token gift with a personal and unique touch. It must be so much fun to put together!

I would love to visit the Lake District. The poets from the Romantic period (Wordsworth, Coleridge, etc.) are among my favorites. English literature is wonderful!

Yes the Lake District is beautiful, it inspires. Before we had the kids I used to take many breaks up there with nothing but books for company. Nothing beats a row on the lake on a nice day.

We may be visiting a little seaside town called Whitby on Sunday. The town was a source of inspiration for Bram Stroker's book, Dracula.

Good Morning, Ever-Effervescently Extra-Excited Ev'ers Extraordinare.

And for something really exciting, read the following:
Days to the Season: 82
Days to Christmas Day: 124

Day after tomorrow -- a MILESTONE DAY -- the 2/3 Christmas Day marker!
Be here for the celebration.

Warmer weather is starting to creep back in, as is the humidity.
It was not too bad yesterday and there was no rain so it was really a pretty good day.
Today has begun at 72 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And a Blast Begining to your Weekend this afternoon!

Good Morning MMC!!! It's going to be a hot one here in central Indy. Fall can't get here quick enough. Not much on the agenda for today. Just a few errands to run and cleaning to do. Pretty boring stuff. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!

Now 4 times!!! :???:

Good Thursday morning all. Sorry I haven't been around much. We are busy here. Fall semester has begun at the community college where I work. Our son starts his senior year of high school on Monday, 8/26. We are busy looking at colleges for him and applying for scholarships. (How I wish I could make him 5 years younger.) Most weekends we make the 3 hour drive down to check on my ailing parents. Neither one is doing well. Mom is still determined to go to Myrtle Beach on Labor Day weekend to see the ocean one more time. Hope we can make it happen.

An article in our local newspaper stated that the mountains of western North Carolina were second to Hilo, Hawaii in rainfall for the year in the US. We have already far exceeded our normal rainfall amount for the entire year. I certainly like the cooler temps but the rain has gotten old. Just 5 years ago, our well went dry during a drought. Now we have more rain than we can handle causing several land slides. It is suppose to be a nice weekend with only a slight chance of rain and highs in upper 70s and lows in mid 50s. We hope to be able to stay home and enjoy it.

Have a blessed day.

Thinking of you, take care!!!

I keep thinking (wishing?) it's Friday. I gotta get over that.

It's here now! =)

I've been working on this year's YuleTube clips, planning a Christmas afghan, and wondering when the Christmas cards will come out at the Christmas Tree Shop so I can get an early start. Yep, it's August, all right! A couple weeks ago I started building a new Christmas library on iTunes so I can sync it up as soon as the season arrives (for me, that's usually right after Halloween---until then I listen to some Christmas music here and there, but after Halloween it's all Christmas music).

You have a great talent! I love your work!

Meceka, those veggies and fruits look delish!

Bradmac, my son is a master chef when it comes to ramen noodles. (you can tell he was a college student) Ha ha! He makes a ramen noodle sandwich but not use it as a bun, puts it in between real bread. I will have to show him this picture you posted.

We usually don't have a traditional Christmas dinner (turkey, ham, etc.) we have a mixture of different foods including my sons Christmas Noodles (as we now named it). He makes a fantastic dish with ramen noodles that everyone looks forward to.

I didn't get a chance to catch up on everything here. My grandchildren will be here soon.

I hope you all have a very Merry Day! :???:
