There is a loud storm a few miles away - woke me up. Feeling better after my short nap and a large, iced coffee!

Glad you are feeling better and get out those fans and blow that storm my way!!!!

Snowball and Kylee must HATE Halloween around here cause they get costumes and when we take their pictures you can see the looks of disdain on their faces it's like we are degrading them or something..

It's funny to see Bret Michael's designs, I used to worship him as an 80's God!!

LOL!!!!! I actually like his rock my rv show on travel channel. They have done some pretty cool stuff.

I vote angel!!

For some odd reason, I started running a fever, almost cold-like symptoms. I try to keep an eye on things like this so I don't get an infection. Hopefully there will come a day when that won't be so problematic for me.

Hope you feel better soon!!!!

Ooh, such great colors to work with!

I'll have to post a sample of Mistletoe when I can. I got 11 skeins because that cost enough to earn free shipping. That'll keep me going for a while!

Here is the pic of one of the two skeins of yarn.

Hope he is bouncing back! Anna wanted to go to school too but I made her sit out and rest. What's wrong with these kids? :)

Tell me about it!!!! I use to look for reasons to not go to school!!!

Love my red pencils and pens, LOL!!!

You need a t-shirt like mine. It says "Don't make me get out my red pen!" The apostrophe is missing and is added in red.

I get teased now and then about my red pens. I tell them they are tools, not weapons, and must be handled by qualified personnel.

That's terrible!

My suggestion; move to Bellville!

Just my 2¢.

If that retirement community is built by the time we're ready to retire, I'd seriously consider it ...

How interesting! It would be a nice place to visit!

I've been to Avalon on Catalina Island a few times and loved it. It was the stars' place to get away from L.A. about the 1920s to the 1940s. Consequently, a number of movies were shot there. The C*sino (a movie theatre with a ballroom on the upper level and a museum in the basement) and the Arcade (shops and the post office) are shown in "Murder on a Honeymoon," and they looked about the same the last time I saw them, as well as some of the scenery in the movie. Sadly, a lovely hotel that is shown in the movie, the St. Catherine, burned to the ground decades ago. It looks like a place I would have loved to have stayed, but I probably wouldn't have been able to afford it!

Has anyone heard about the Hallmark Christmas season this year like the scheduling or anything? I always forget when they start. Usually mid November IIRC. I am nuts about that channel that and the AMC channel at Halloween. The AMC channel is extremely hard to predict though one year is good then the next is complete crap.(excuse the language) Hopefully they have a good lineup and the Hallmark channel never lets met down. From the start of the season except for my games on Sunday I watch Hallmark from beginning to end and the thing I love is they play them until Jan 2. The holidays should never end on the 26th!

Good rainy evening, MMC!

It is still storming out. :???:

My plans to make spaghetti sauce are on hold - I'd hate to lose electricity right in the middle of the sauce making as I tend to make a bit of a mess and I really don't want to wake up to piles of dirty dishes. A few are okay, but not sink fulls! I forgot to pick basil, too, and I can't have sauce without basil! I'd rather the rain, though! Good night to relax and catch up on my reading.

Gotta rustle up some din-din for myself (they're making Mr. work late again), then get to work on some paperwork that entails summarizing through two years' worth of correspondence and e-mails pertaining to a legal matter. Talk about killing an evening.

We did enjoy it, Holiday! I love it when a meal comes together so quickly and tastes so good! We had some leftover fruit that Hubby will use to make some fruit smoothies in the Vitamix machine. He does a great job on those!
we love making smoothies here, a great way to use left over fruit and vegies.

What a shame the hotel burned to the ground - I probably would have liked to stay there, too.

I'm praying for a quick resolution to your legal matter. Take care, Merry! {{{HUGS}}}

Good night, MMC! I am going to relax and read for most of the evening. The rain is perfect accompaniment to the mystery I am reading.

MERRY dreams!!! :sparkle:

Good Morning my Christmas Friends!

We are expecting some more triple digit temperatures. Blah! Fall will be here soon! As Gabulldawg mentioned about coming out of summer hibernation, I cannot wait to come out of it myself! Bring on the cooler temps!!!

I have a busy day ahead. I hope you all have a Merry Day!
yuck, I do not like the heat, we had a hot and muggy one today with a temp of 34c (93f) I cannot imagine it even hotter! I hope your ac is working well.
I agree, bring on the cooler temps!

Good evening, MMC! I don't have time to get caught up in the posts today. I've been very busy, but I wanted you guys to know I was thinking of you all! I will read and reply tomorrow. Hope you all have had a great day and hope tomorrow is even better!

Look at all those cute graphics you share with us! That's important, too! Oh, and all those cakes. Words/posts aren't any more important than that. I think the key word is "share." Did you notice that I award "prizes" based on a milestone number to which we all contribute and not on the highest number of posts per person? And a lot of those posts are from our "clicking" our thanks when we don't have time to respond to anything more than a quick thanks of acknowledgement. I know that you have "won" quite a few of those milestone prizes because you were here with us when you were able. Each of us just share when we can. I can share more because I am now retired, but when I was working, I was not able to share as much. We are under no obligation to reach a personal quota. One thing I have noticed is that we are really "sharing" what is important in our lives and what is important with our MMC family and not padding our posts with "fluff" that has no meaning. To me, what is important is our "membership" in this family where each of us is as important as the others.
