Christmas Countdown - 2013

I wanted to read all the posts but do not have time.
Leaving for Port Huron in a few min, going to pick up parcels at our US address (my daughter is ) and going to do a bit of shopping. Might pop into Hobby lobby, but they are not fond of us Canadians so will only go if we have the time.

DH just got home - he was at a fire all night and he looks horrible. I feel bad for him. There's not many nights that he is up all night like me and then has to go on not very much sleep. It's going to be a long day for him.

Morning! Just popping in while I get a chance. We are having rain this morning and I think its going to last most of the weekend. It lightened up just enough so I could take J to school without us getting drenched. I was hoping to walk to the shops this morning but didn't want to risk us getting caught in a downpour. I am so curious to see if there are Halloween/Christmas things out, they usually start after school reopens.

Our weekend will be a cosy, quiet and unplanned one. I will be working on Sunday so that always makes our weekends shorter.

Hope everyone is having a good day, I am off to continue with a few things I have been doing while keeping my little one amused Hope the rain stops in time for the school run at 3pm!

Happy Friday! It is chilly start here in CT...def feels like fall is coming. Just working today and my daughter has a soccer tournament this weekend...5 games!

I know by Sunday we will be "soccered" out!

We did! It got a little wild though when DS starting kicking EA and she was getting mad, but that didn't last long. He got into trouble for that! :lol:

My niece's both kick in there sleep. I always wake up with bruises if one of them sleeps with while they are here.

Good Morning MMC!!! It's going to be a hot one here today with a high of 89. I want my fall air back. Not much on my agenda. I slept good again after all of that jumping up and down cheering for Peyton last night so I think I'm going to tackle the kitchen instead of putting it off yet again. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

I just read online that they are coming out with Campbell's Soup K-Cups for the Keurig. I thought that was interesting to say the least.

I hope he can get some good rest before long. I know how you feel. I feel that way after Mr. has a late night at the office---sometimes he doesn't get home until 2 or 3 a.m., after getting to work at 9 a.m., and then has to be back at the office at 9 or 10 a.m. next morning. Add a 1-1/2-hour commute to that, and he doesn't get much sleep to operate on. And it's even harder for your DH, having been at a fire instead of an office.

I skimmed through an article about it, and yes, they DO include dried veggies. Noodles, too, I guess, because one of the three flavors they're offering is chicken noodle soup.

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

Jacob's birthday party was a lot of fun. I even ate a few chicken wings, breaking my diet. Mmmm, mmmm! He finally got a cell phone, and was very pleased with himself. We're also planning a trip for him and a friends to Six Flags when they start the Halloween festivities.

Tonight we're going to nearby Statesboro to see a blues concert that Jacob's guitar teacher is playing in. The concert coincides with the first week of once-a-month fall street vendors in Statesboro, so we're going to make an evening of it. I think mom is coming with us, too.
