Elizabeth really didn't like her first grade teacher, and used to cry and hold onto my leg for dear life. It's hard to leave them behind when they're so upset, huh?

He has loved school so far, he was just in one of his moods.

Deffenm, after reading your post, I ordered Night Circus and then saw a review of Montana 1948 and ordered that also. (For some reason, Montana 1948 showed up as a "Customers who bought this item [Night Circus] also bought...). I think I am set for something to read!

Happy Tuesday! Fall is officially here - cool in the mornings and evenings and warm in the middle of the day. I love it. We had a busy weekend as always. Son had football practice, daughter had sleep over and horse back riding lessons. I did grocery shopping, painted new front door and outside trim around door, cleaned house, watched the Buckeyes win their game, and finished the book Night Circus. I will be glad for an uneventful weekend this weekend. I plan to begin to decorate for Halloween but that is about it.

Just got off the phone with the wife and she wants us to go to the movies tonight, so I said okay and we are going to see a horror movie called 'your next' or something like that,I really had my heart set on hitting the sheets for a nap when I get home since I was up most all last night but we hardly ever go to the movies and I love horror (suspense) so I guess I am game...still waiting for lunch to roll around, still no rain yet and its awful mild 77F outside right now..but it's cloudy and windy..very strange weather!!! Hope everyone is getting through your day alright..especially those of us at work.lol folks at home today are so lucky!

Enjoy movie night!

Well, Folks.
Major disappointment time!

Just got back from Crabtree Valley Mall after talking with their customer service people and have sadly confirmed that
A Christmas To Remember will not be there this year. No space.

BUT NOT TO WORRY!!
The rumor mentioned earlier this morning is still alive and well.

Now, this is where Carl comes in. Tomorrow's open house theme at the 'Pines involves flowers. Lots of flowers.
(Hmmmmm....... Wonder what that could mean??)

Wooohoo!

Oh, Solice, I am so good!!! My energy has returned, PTL! I will go every two weeks for an injection and reassess after three shots. I feel on top of the world!

I feel so sorry for your son, I used to have horrendous ear aches when I was a kid. I can still remember the pain!

Good afternoon! Thanks, Im so tired... zzzzzz....
I'm home with my son. He have an ear infection, poor thing.
We have been up every night the last four nights to give him painkillers and meds..
Hope things are going better soon!!

How are you today Seawaters?

so wonderful that you are feeling better again!
I wonder if that injection would make my knee better? LOL, would be nice!

I feel so blessed to feel so good!!! I have done three loads of laundry, rested for an hour, did some computer work, cleaned up the kitchen, and did some other moseying about. I am so happy that I could cry, realizing that my body was being short-changed in the energy department. I honestly feel like my old self! I had been so depressed thinking that I would never feel good again, and now I feel great!

Snowflake, best of luck on the new job today. And BTW, resetting our cable modem fixed the streaming video problem. I found a couple "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" Christmas episodes on Amazon Instant Video for 99 cents apiece and bought them. I'm looking forward to watching free "Twilight Zone" episodes during the Halloween season!

I think I want some of whatever you're taking! I haven't felt "in the groove" since I don't know when!

Bummer. Glad to hear the store is still doing well.

It ha been a long day here, just sitting and watching TV. My head is pounding, and just feel rather, BLAH! The boys are getting haircuts for school pictures, and I am just getting dinner ready.

I hope you all are having a good day!
I hate the BLAh feeling, hope it goes away soon.

My wife is going to kill me. I got home and instead of just eating a little snack like I told her I would do I ended up eating 3 corndogs and my appetite is gone. We are leaving in about an hour to go to this great little Mexican restaurant we have found then to the movies. I bet though I will still be able to eat that really should not be a problem,I just don't like hearing nagging about eating when I knew we were going out yada yada... anywhoo the boys are already bathed and ready for their sitters. We found these sisters in high school that go to our church that are wonderful with them and they are so reliable and hard working,we don't expect them to clean the kitchen or anything but they do! Not that we leave it dirty either but they just go out of their way,and we are glad we found them because once we moved that was a big issue with trusting a new sitter. Well I better scoot off hopefully by tonight when I return Coach will have his baby here with them! It has been such a long day for them. Have a great evening everyone! enjoy your suppers!
