Christmas Countdown - 2013

[Holiday]

first Christmas present of the 2013 season has been given by us to my mother today......We bought her a new TV......usually we don´t give presents that expensive....they r usually around 20 to 25 euro........but this is meant as a thank You for all the help and support she gave us for the last few years......We love my moms.....Jones, Kandice and I mean .....Merry Christmas

What a great gift!!! I bet she was surprised & loved it!!!

Hi guys!!! How is tomorrow October and why are we having a WARMING TREND to start off the month?? Grrr...

Anyway! CHRISTMAS STUFF AT TARGET! I have been stalking the aisles and was so excitd to smell cinnamon pinecones! Hooorayyy!!!

Heater is cleaned... completely decorated for fall... come on fall!

YAY!!! :dance: Gotta love that cinnamon smell! I need to get my fall decs up yet!!! I hope you get your fall weather soon!!! I'm going to enjoy this warmer weather for a bit I hope. LOL!!! I'm loving the cool mornings though!!!!

As my dear departed Grandma use to say "dear heavens above" what a day it's turning out to be.! Just the typical Monday end of the month stuff. One thing for sure is it's going by fast I actually worked through lunch by accident. I am taking a few minutes of to peep in here and scarf down a sandwich! I hope everyone else's Monday is going better than mine! talk to yall soon I hope!!!

Don't worry, cooler weather is on the way!!!! At least for a day or two before he heats back up. Then storms and more cool temps though!!!!

It is supposed to be 85 here in CT on Wed...very crazy! I will def be checking out Target this weekend!

My Monday is pretty good....weekends go by way too quick. Just working and my oldest daughter is home with the stomach bug! Apparently, it is going around the school...she is perking up a bit so that is good.

I just received my mail in my office and sure enough I received my Thanksgiving catalog from Yankee candle and on the front cover is the "turkey and stuffing" I have to order that just for the heck of it. If I don't like it I will give to my office nemesis We are having a warm day today it's 74F but I guess that is normal for early Fall. Tomorrow is suppose to be even warmer...grrr I am ready for some cold weather!

So update on my great 9-foot QVC Christmas tree...it came today. One of the sections won't light. We tried everything the company said to do and it still won't work. They said they would send us a strand of lights and we can put them on ourselves. Isn't that the whole point of a pre-lite tree? Ugh!

That stinks :/ Kind of a hassle for you guys! Maybe they should credit you for that section, as well!

No it's not cause your Swiss..I am trying to imagine how it could smell nice..except perhaps in the confines of the kitchen..! But none the less I still can't wait to see how exactly they can fit turkey and stuffing into wax!

I love a lot of food scented candles, but I don't see myself liking this one!

It can't possibly be Monday morning again! You know what is cruel? When you dream it is a Saturday morning an then the alarm wakes you up to a cold Monday morning! Well at least it's autumn now and the last day of September! That is good news! I am about to eat breakfast of some leftover ham that has to be eaten up and I am the only one in the house that is eating ham and left over potato salad.(yummy breakfast)! Have a great drive to work this early Monday morning everyone!

Wouldn't they give you a refund if you return the tree? It's not fair that you have to wind up stringing lights yourself on a pre-lit tree!! What a rook!
