Don't I know it! It's still the only working theater organ in Maryland still situated in its original theater. (There were other working theater organs, but they had been moved to colleges, private homes, other theaters, etc.).
This is a link to its history.

Quiz Answer: Beer
Humans have been drinking beer for a long, long time. The oldest
recipe ever found was a 6,000 year old formula for beer written on
a cuneiform tablet. The recipe was part of a poem that was devoted
to Ninkasi, the Sumerian goddess of beer. Beer has been regulated
by man for thousands of years. The oldest recorded laws of any kind
can be found in the Code of Hammurabi that was written in Babylonia
in 1750 B.C. In this code were regulations regarding the selling of
beer. As an a example, beer houses were banned from watering down
their beer and if they did, the penalty was death.
No, but that is a good guess! I thought it was oatmeal, but I was wrong!

I would love to go to a theater like that. My MIL used to work at such a theater in San Francisco when she was a young girl.

It's not a big movie palace---it only seats about 1,200---but I'm very fond of the place. I've got a whole series of photos I took there once, and I have some video of the organ. I saw my first movie there when I was too small to hold the seat down with my own weight! There's a story that the air conditioning was paid for by Jack Warner (the theater was part of the Warner Bros. chain) out of gratitude for a winning tip on a horse given to Warner by a local man. The horse, Challedon, was born in my hometown, and the odds were long on him because his track record wasn't well known in California at that time. This was around 1940, I think. The farm where Challedon was born is now a housing development---the streets are named for the racehorses bred there.

I reckon I seem a lot more interesting to you than I would to college students ... And I have to earn a living! Thank you for the compliment. In small doses, it's interesting. In person, I'd likely talk your ears off.
