Christmas Countdown - 2013

I'm getting excited... here in North Jersey we are expecting our first snowfall of the season tomorrow morning. Just a light snowfall, should only put down a dusting if anything, but it will be nice to see snow once again! Just wish it wasn't during the morning commute. Oh well, it's snow! :-D

Goodnight, sugar!!

very slow day at work, which was fine because I had one mega headache.
It is gone now, on my break I took some meds.
Home and working on ginger bread covered bridge and relaxing watching TV. Snow is still wafting down, looks very nice out there. Temperature is dropping, down to -3c (26f)
Dancing with the Stars is on now

Glad you are feeling much better now, CS.

this is her truck, she was in the cab that was trapped under this trailer in the ditch. She had a bad concussion and a brain bleed (now stopped) Donna is on complete bed rest for at least a week. She is home now.
She came around the corner, hit slush on the road then hit sheer ice and lost control.

She came around the corner, hit slush on the road then hit sheer ice and lost control.

How scary.

Donna is in my thoughts & prayers, friend. Please keep us posted on her recovery.

Good evening, Christmas friends!

I have one really big mess in my kitchen/office. Washing glassware for store displays next week is how I am spending my evening, thus the mess. Palmer is snoozing on her box under the chair I normally sit on when I am using my computer but since it is piled high with books and totes I switched to a stool. There are two hours left before I will call it a night - hope I can get things straightened away some! Listening to MMC podcasts as I work makes it rather fun!

Good afternoon!
We are celebrating a special day too 11/11
Because my twins are 10 years old today!
My little babies....¢¾¢¾

We are soon eating dinner of their choice (pizza)
and then we are going to the movies to see a Norwegian Christmas movie..

It's a cold day here today..
26.6F (-3) Brr....

We are moving december 1st..
So it doesn't look like Christmas here...
And Im feeling a little down because of it...boxes everywhere!

It will be great to move into or new home but I normally
would have lots of Christmas stuff in my home by now...

Good morning! We had a very nice, but yet hectic weekend, looking at houses and trying to sell ours. We got word late Friday night, that a contract came in on our house and then Saturday morning, the realtor called and said we got another one. So, a bidding war commenced on our house (that's a good thing)!

We didn't hear anything from the realtor until late last night, the final offer for our home was more than what we listed it for; (very happy about that). We accepted the offer and signed the contract last night - So, we sold our home, pending passing home inspections....Yea~

We found three houses that we like, two of them, we really love and cannot decide which one we want to make an offer for. So, tonight, we are going to take Zach and Vicki there tonight for the first time to get their points of view. Of course, it boils down to what we like, etc....this is the fun part!

All this talk of moving! CONGRATULATIONS! WOW! I'm sure you will pick the right house....what a great position to be in!!! Good luck! Good for you still putting up your tree!!! :smile:

I posted about Coach's awesome post!!! LOVED IT! Thanks Coach! Well done!

Right now I am making Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls. The dough is rising. I am going Christmas shopping with my neighbor ladies tomorrow - we are meeting at our house, so I'll have coffee & rolls before we go! So excited! I have Hallmark on tv tonight - need to do some cleaning b/f I go to bed - but I'm getting tired already! Maybe I'll get up early & do it! Can't let the neighbor ladies see a messy house. Ha ha ha! Hopefully we won't have to deal with bad roads, but sure would be nice to see some snow! Can you arrange that for us Made?? We're heading to Muncie!
