Christmas Countdown - 2013

This is about all that is left if our snow
I am on lunch break which is almost over.
Work until 4:30 then not back until Saturday afternoon.

Good news everyone! It appears that I have found an honest and trustworthy mechanic. I received a call from Den (mechanic) and he said that there is something wrong with one of the wires in the camshaft. I have no idea. He's Vietnamese and very difficult to understand.

Anyway, the wire is either broken or unable to be attached. He needs to purchase the part. He said it will be fixed this afternoon for $115... total. After thinking this was going to cost a fair bit of money, I am absolutely thrilled to hear that the "service engine soon" light will only cost me this much... and, of course, be shut off in the process.

Now, I just have to hope that it can be fixed within the next two hours so it doesn't delay my gym time!

Yay!! Glad it wasn't to much!!!!

Hey Solice!!! Hope all is going well there!!!!

Hello all. Today is the first of my three very long days. On top of it we have winter weather coming to mess up some travel. Yikes!

I am still hoping for snow this year. It seems that others are getting unusual weather (i.e. NC got snow on Thanksgiving, totally unheard of!!!), so maybe northern California will get snow this year. I can wish!

I had a nice surprise, thought I was working until 4:30 but only had to work
til 4 ! It was nice to come home and relax sooner than planned.

It always takes awhile to get used to new surroundings. I too am sure they will grow to love it where they are now.

As for the house, it will definitely take some time for your kids to get use to it. I remember myself when my family bought a new apartment and we moved when I was 6. I was missing my old room at the beginning but once I got use to our new place, it was fine. :]

Good evening! I hope you all had a good day. Mine was quite intense because I had computer practical workshop from 10am to 4pm. It was mostly statistical and data analyzes of which I am not a big fan of. We didn't have any breaks because there was a lot of work to be done. We could come and go as pleased but if we had had too many breaks, we wouldn't have finished our work on time. Overall, I spent the most of my day working on computer and I feel quite exhausted so I might go to bed earlier than usual.
