Yummmmmy!
Dang! Looking good!
Nicely done!
Now go rest!

Received a nice phone call from Social Security. The "agent" helped me so much. (Not sure what her title is.) She had already taken care of things for me. Anyway, I am signed up for SS Part B, retroactive to Feb. 1. She will accept a written statement from me saying what my monthly income from CalSTRS will be, but will need a copy of the actual letter when I receive it. That eased my mind so much. Now all I have to do is send $$$ to my insurance carrier to get the supplement and Part D (drugs) and I will be good to go!

I really appreciate all the posts of encouragement and concern from all of y'all. It really helps to be a part of such a great family!

I am so glad to read this !!!! Good...I am glad somebody FINALLY helped you and did their job !!! xoxo

Yay!!!! I'm glad you got it all taken care of.

Hey everyone! I just made dinner for my family and now I am going to go unwind and watch TV. I ran errands all day long which was not fun. I think I might be coming down with something and I sure hope it isn't the stomach flu, let alone the normal flu. I usually eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner and I've had no appetite today, plus I'm really tired. I felt drained since I woke up. I barely ate anything so I'm trying my best to keep drinking water. Guess I'll know soon enough if it's a fluke or not! The only thing I heard about the flu that is going around is that it hits you suddenly and this isn't really the case for me.

Will catch up with everyone tomorrow, have a good night!

I hope you are feeling better

Good evening,

I was busy for most of the day, got nearly done taking my Christmas stuff down, I hung my shelf in my room to display my collectible Santa's, my wife loved it. I just have one more room to take lights down and it will finally be all down. This weekend will probably when that happens since it looks like we have a major snowstorm coming one model saying we will be getting 1-3 inches and the European model saying we will be getting 12+ inches, of course the European has been the more accurate of the two, so I am glad I have the weekend off.

Have a good night everyone.

Lucky, no matter which model!!!

Just back from an Elks Lodge meeting. I love this time of night when I get into jammies and watch TV with Hubby! Good night, all!

Here's hoping you do not get 12 inches of snow !! xo

I became a fan of ranunculus after a florist introduced us to them for my daughter's wedding. They are gorgeous!
I also love spray roses- so dainty and beautiful.
Ah..love is in the air!
yes ranunculus are very pretty. i tried to use them in a wedding once, not sure if it was due to the growers quality or just not large blooms but they didn't do very well. i agree w/ you that they are very pretty. love is in the air...blaaah! lol

LOL, I worked @ my friend's flower shop for 5 years. Loved it!!
had you told me that before? i don't remember. cool!

You've got me curious! I'll have to look them up

Some of my favorites are also the fill flowers, love Queen Anne's Lace!
oh yes, queen anne's lace is a very pretty flower, so dainty.

I was thinking the same thing, MMT. I know roses, lillies, and a few others, but not all those that were listed!!! What brainiacs we have on here!
your so funny!

Good Morning, Wacky Wednesday Wonders and Wayward Wanderers.

It's Carl Day!
{{ Sorry. He made me say that. }}

Anyway, on to the count with no more Dromedary Delays:
Days to the Season: 280
Days to Christmas Day: 322
Hey!
Under a week away now from the one quarter Season Milestone!
(Just seems like we should not be that far along, yet.)

Much warmer yesterday (mid 60's). Even warmer than predicted.
Nice and sunny, too.
And we are supposed to get a repeat today.
Currently, we are at 33 degrees here.

Well, Folks.
Another mid-week 'Pine open house.
(They seem to come around faster and faster each week!)

I have also heard through the grapevine (or is it the holly garland?) that Carl will indeed have a special guest for this evening's festivities. There is an unsubstantiated rumor that it could be Carl's "cousin", Joe Camel.
As we all know, he's been out of work for some time now and might could use a little publicity.
Regardless, it should be an interesting evening.

(And you really don't want to miss the 'Pines Valentines day open house next week!)

OK.
You have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everybody!
And we hope to see as many of you as possible at the 'Pines today.
