Hey everyone. So the beginning of March means that there's only 8 more months until the November 1st (my family typically celebrates Christmas from Nov 1st through most of January). I know November still seems a tad far away but it'll be here before we know it. Hope everyone is doing well and that 2013 is going well so far.

Eight months will go so quickly ! I think it is great that you and your family start in November ! xo Always nice to see you !

Good morning, MMC!!

Happy Saturday, friends~

Adrian & I took a walk last night, and saw a few more houses that had their outdoor Christmas lights still on! I like festive spirits!

I didn't sleep very well, so I need tons of coffee this morning =) better get brewing.

Hope you have a wonderful day!!!

Awwww...I hope you get to rest this evening. That is GREAT that some houses have not yet given up on Christmas ! Big ((((HUGS)))) to you all especially Harlowe Jean xo

Good morning everyone!
It would make me very happy if I could jump in and count down with all of you every once in a while. I hope its alright.
I am having a cup of coffee right now and listening to the local news. I'm going to walk my dogs in a few minutes. Its about 35 degrees outside right now, it isn't going to get much warmer than that today. Not too much planned for today. My husband had to be on a job in the city early this morning so he will be gone for a while. I'm going to take my girls out to lunch and then visit my parents.
I hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning !! Of course, just jump right in !! You are always welcome here and we are glad to have you !!! Hope you and your doggies have a wonderful day ! xo

morning shift girl just called me in a panic, apparently night shift did not fill the pull fridge or do much in the way of prep work. It was crazy busy when I was there so it must have continued that way (at least I certainly hope that was their reason!)
Just before she called I had put my uniform in the wash, so she is going to have to wait until it is dry before I can head in.
The plus side is I will be home sooner tonight!

They have such a gem in you, Star !! Your interview for the other job is soon, right ?? Good luck, though I don't think you will need it xo

He's not strange, lol! He's my buddy =]

I had just drifted off to sleep at @ 11:00, and these 2 loud bangs woke me up. I swear they hit the side of our townhouse, or the patio doors off the bedroom. Thank God Adrian was still here, he was upstairs getting ready to leave for his trip. I was scared to go back to sleep, knowing he'd be leaving within the hour. I turned on the patio light, that made me feel a little bit safer. Still not sure what it was..Adrian thought it could've been some large icicles falling, but it was so loud!! Almost sounded like gunshots, but I doubt it. It was so strange. He said he looked out the living room window right after, and saw nothing. So, I got our gun out, kept it unloaded though, just in case. Adrian stayed home an hour longer, just to make sure I was feeling better about things. I think I'll need a nap today.

Just be observant when you take Har out....I am sure it was nothing but keeping your eyes open never hurts...Wish that Wishy and I could be there and keep you company !! xoxo

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's a chilly morning here in central Indy and it looks like the cold air is going to stick around for a while. I just looked at the long range forecast on accuweather and it only shows 1 day over 60 degree's the next 3 weeks. That's a big change from last year when we had 17 days above 70 degrees and 7 days above 80 degrees in march. So I'm happy about that. Today I need to run a few errands and then it will be back home to watch some racing and listen to the Greasy Skillet. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a great day Made !!! I will try to make the Greasy Skillet tonight but I never had the audio connection and always have to be a pain and ask.......xo

I hope we have some traditional seasons this year! I love Spring & Fall, and the transitions into them.

Have a GREAT day, yourself!!

I agree !! NORMAL weather is what I want to see....Sorry but 70 fegrees this early for this region is NOT RIGHT....And I hope that Summer is not quite as blistering this year ! xo

It's turning out to be a great day weather wise..I wish I was at the ski resorts in the southeast and especially the Mid atlantic this weekend...looks like they are going to get some good snowfall. It's still cloudy here I guess it will clear up but it's staying kind of chilly. I am waiting for the dishes to dry..which I think they have then I after I put them up I will be done. TO me housework is awful. I would rather work in the yard anyday over that! Glad I am almost done. We are suppose to have oysters on the grill this afternoon.. I am not familiar with how that is done really. So that should be interesting..ttyl!

I forgot to say that I love your avatar!

Thank you! I will!! Believe me, I was nervous when Har needed to go out @ 1:00. Paranoid is more like it! And then she never went =[ She gets antsy when he leaves, too. Ironically, it's much safer here than Vegas. Don't know why I got so spooked.

I wish you guys were here, too!! Har & Wish would love each other! And we'd talk non-stop :) xo

I think I posted on here about an "article" I read from either Cracked or Mad Magazine in the late 60s about a comparison/contrast between Lincoln and Kennedy. After each connection, the author wrote "pretty eerie," in the drawn out way of the magazine. Anyway, CM3, last night I read your recent blog; and I kept saying, "Pretty eerie." You see, one day before I started school, Mother received a huge, heavy package. She had it set down in the back room and closed the door. She then called each of us kids (five of us) one at a time into the back room, closed the door each time, and talked to us about what was in the box. Inside were brand new, brown Compton's Encyclopedias. When she called me in, she took me up on her lap and showed me one of the books and talked to me about it. Then she let me choose one to look at with her. I will never forget that I chose Volume B and just fell in love with reading. That book had the most gorgeous pictures of birds, especially the blue jay. That helped me along my path to becoming a teacher and life-long reader, just like you!!! Pretty eerie! We are SO much alike and have had so many similar experiences!!! Again I say, pretty eerie!
