I called out sick again today, which was probably a good thing since we have already gotten 15-17 inches of snow and it is still coming down pretty heavy. The news said last night 4-6 inches total. Another day of rest awaits me, everyone is home for a snow day since schools were cancelled.

People are still trying to rebuild and put their homes back together. Areas were flooded again the past two days with this latest storm. My heart goes out to everyone affected.

Every year (she's 18 now), she still gets a Holiday Barbie for Christmas and throughout the year, every once and awhile, i will buy her a special/ limited issue one. She never opens them up. They're all tucked away, nice and neat in big boxes for the future.

Don't know what our total is now---it just won't stop! Earlier they were expecting it to stop around noon to 1 p.m., but now they expect it to hang around another hour or two. I'm still amazed at how this thing blew up overnight and doubled the snow amounts that were expected yesterday at this time. Stay safe out there, especially if you have to shovel.

Another surprise, it stopped snowing!

Because of my cough, and lack of feeling well, we had a plow come and do our driveway.
 
I´m really tired...work on the bike in the morning....we had a lot of mail with lots of catalgues the entire last week...so my legs are really, really tired....so I did my mail today...then did some baking, some arranging again....cooked potatoes for the potatoe salad...done some laundry.....and now I´m totally wasted....so so tired....gotta bring Kandice to bed and be careful not to fall asleep myself...cos I still got to bring in her new bike she will get for her birthday and wrap the other small, small presents we got for her.....a Simon´s Cat DVD and book and a Little Golden Book about DocMcStuffins....the new Disney show....can´t wait to see her eyes tomorrow...holla

Glad to hear you didn't have to shovel. I've cleared a portion of the driveway twice---I'm about beat. But the snow is slowing down.
