I forgot to mention in my other post - I think I am getting a toothache or that I might have a cavity....ugh!!! Send some good thoughts my way that I don't! Have I ever mentioned how much I hate going to the dentist? My tooth was a little sensitive last night to cold + sore in general and I thought I could feel a little hole when I ran my tongue on my tooth. I always take really good care of my teeth though and I have never had a cavity, so I kind of doubt and I really hope that's not it!

If you really hate dentists---go get that looked at NOW. It may be a cavity that's easily filled. But if you let it get out of hand, you could find yourself in root canal territory one of these days. See a dentist and nip it in the bud. Wish everybody had a wonderful dentist like mine. I've needed a lot of dental work over the years, and he's the BEST.

Rough day today. A friend of mine's 17 year old son hung himself this morning. Our son has played baseball with/against him since t-ball. You never know what is going on inside a teenagers mind. His parents had no idea how much he was really struggling with their divorce.

Prayers for the family would be much appreciated.

it always breaks my heart when someone thinks there is no other way to deal with how they feel, especially when they are so young. My prayers are with this family

Good evening, everyone! What a Monday it has been! This time change will have me dragging for a good week or so. I swear it felt as if I didn't sleep a wink last night. It's funny that one hour can throw your sleep schedule off entirely. I started back at college today, I was on spring break last week. My friends all have their spring break next week, so I didn't get to do much of anything. The weather was cold and snowy anyway, so I just took the time to relax when I wasn't working. I started another class today in addition to all of my others, it'll be for the remainder of the semester. According to my professors, it is the hardest class that is offered at my college. It doesn't seem too bad to me, though. It is writing intensive but I am very good at writing papers. Nothing has been exciting around here at all. My pap unfortunately seems to be getting worse each day. He lost his sense of taste and smell entirely. I am afraid he won't get both back. Like I said, it's been boring around here! I have the Bachelor finale tonight - at least something interesting is on to watch!

Christmasstar - I am also getting bombarded by snowballs. I will get everyone back when they least expect it!! I am glad that you enjoyed your day off and were able to relax - you deserve it! I wish spring would hurry up over here! The cake that you made for your friend is absolutely stunning!

Hello everyone. My day was much busier than I expected it to be. I was on the run all day and am exhausted. I'm going to try and catch up here before I fall asleep, I have a lot of reading to do!

Good evening Christmas Family. Nice and sleepy tonight thank goodness !! Not a lot going on tonight. I managed to stab my thumb a good one with one of Wishy's needles today. That dang thing was SHARP and it got stuck ! I had no choice but to pull it out really quickly and try to stop my bleeding. Then I had to get back to work which hurt like the Dickens !! I have it bandaged and am hoping the soreness will subside by the morning.

I guess trying to show Wish it really did not hurt kind of backfired.

Hope your thumb is feeling numb!

my brother had sugery on his hand today to strighten out a couple of fingers

he is doing well and spending a couple of days at a friends house to recover.

It has now been three months Wish was started on subcu fluids every day and he seems to still be doing well. In fact he has even managed to gain back the weight he lost which is a very, very good thing.

Praying for the families of the two young people who passed away mentioned here in the Countdown. As a survivor of suicide I understand how lost the families must be feeling. I wish I could tell the families that even though they feel like things will never be okay again there is some degree of healing that takes place but it does take lots of time. For me it will be 21 years and yet it still seems like yesterday sometimes.

Wow, busy day here today. I made it through a full day of work today, it was tough but I actually worked some extra time. I am beat, but feeling better than I have been. Just watching my Bruins now, my wife is in the other room watching Teen Mom 2, I cannot deal with that show whatsoever. LC has now got a cold, he stayed home with the Mrs. He may be home with me tomorrow, since tomorrow is my usual day off.

Thanks, Xmas! I appreciate it! I am so looking forward to that game tomorrow. My friend is a huge Bruins fan so we have a nice rivalry going on, too. It will be a good one!! The Pens have been putting up a ton of goals lately.

You have been in my prayers and will continue to be. I hope you keep feeling better. How did your Bruins do tonight? I will pray that LC feels better quickly. Sometimes I think colds are one of the worst because they are so draining. Hope all improves!

Thanks for the advice! I am going to give it overnight and tomorrow and if it's not better, I am going to see if they can squeeze me in this week. I really do hate the dentist. I am glad that you have a good dentist. I bet more people wouldn't be so intimidated to go if they had a good one!
