I agree with you totally, Merry. The same can also be said for surviving suicide. It is not the same thing but in a way, it is because you find out who your REAL friends are. I was looked at as damaged and ostracized by some and just plain written off as a friend to others when my first husband passed 20 years ago. I found out quickly that some people are all for you unless suicide comes into the picture - That seems to change perceptions of many, though not all. Now, I am sorry for my outburst but I felt it needed to be said. I guess the long and short of it is REAL friends stick with a person, as we all will with Seawaters, no matter what...Peace to you my friend xo

Another case would be when you take care of your elderly parents - I found out who my real friends were then. Although it was very upsetting at the time it happened, in the long run it is better to know. I'm very sorry you and MerryCarey had to go through such things. {{{Hugs}}} to you both!!!!

Right now my dream of owning a Christmas store feels like it is farther away than ever. :?

xmas, have you checked to see if any of your local antique malls or have any available spots open and if they allow whatever it is your store would focus on? Some antique malls will not allow items made after a certain date. The one I am at prefers 70s or earlier for most items, books being the only exception.

Not sure how "good" it was. Wayne and I both felt a bit dizzy and lightheaded the rest of the day. I don't think we ate a big enough breakfast for the bike ride. We are not sore in the least, just didn't feel well but will prepare better for our next adventure.

They will! =)

The green coffee was good too!

I will be praying!!! Keep us posted.

I think it's all those snowballs being thrown on here are piling up and falling on your town! =)

Hahaha!! So true, CAH & Made! I think you're both right :)

I wanted snow, And snow is what I've got!!

I just pray that we still get a full season of spring!

Good evening & Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

We had LC's birthday party today, it went very well, he got some great gifts and loves each and everyone of them so far. Then we got home early enough for me to cook my corned beef sans cabbage, (I don't like cabbage) I honestly don't know why I only make it once a year, it was so tasty. Back to the grind tomorrow, I have a feeling it will be a rough day, but then again when isn't a day there rough. It is getting late, I will probably retire to the bedroom and do some reading before I get some shut eye.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Good night all.

I'm so glad LC had a good day! I hope your work day goes well!

I'll be praying for you to have a clean scan. Stay strong and I'm glad we are here to be part of your support team!

Me, too!

I did not put my cat, Charlie, on this game box! We got this game as a joke because of all the strays hanging around my house that we feed. The grandkids were playing it last week, left the game on the floor and my cat crawled up on it and ended up napping on it all day long. We left the box there because between eating and playing he kept jumping back on it and napped on it the next day as well. It just happen to be his spot to sleep for a couple of days. Ha ha! Now he is back to sleeping in the cat tree.

That is so cute!! Charlie is gorgeous ;)

Well certainly I do !! I mean after all...cheesecake can hardly be called junk food...it has the milk group, the bread group, the protein group, and depending on the toppings, the fruit group !! You just need to add a salad ! :hello:

Wow, my sentiments exactly!

We don't like to leave our Baby, but my former classroom aide is our cat-sitter. She loves cats, and she has five of her own. I always tell her she is one cat away from being the crazy cat lady!!! Our cat does not like people, but she loves my aide, so we feel very comfortable leaving Baby with her!

I have 12, sometimes 14, cats outside and 2 inside. Does that mean I am a member of the Crazy Cat Lady group? If so, cool!!!!!!!

Good morning, Christmas family

I have just a few seconds but I would like to ask that you lift Wishbone up in prayer. He would not eat his breakfast for me. It may be nothing but he has been drinking more and I suspect a change is happening with his kidneys that is not good, so if you could just say a quick prayer, I would be so grateful xoxo

My prayers for Wishbone (and you) continue! {{{HUGS}}}

storm a coming again...supposed to be mix of rain, ice rain and snow. Arriving this afternoon sometime.

Training starts in one hour, I have mix of nerves and excitement going here. This session runs for 4 hours, so I guess it will be most intro stuff. After this we will be going to the new store for training.

Al is here fixing some stuff around my unit. (hole in ceiling, cupboard door and caulking around tub)

Hope you all have a great day!!

Storm a coming here, too - stay safe! Have a great day - Christmasstar. You will do great with the training - enjoy!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm back at work, trying to catch up on two days-worth of emails. I can't believe I process this much email every day. Don't they know I'm trying to read MMC?!?

I have some work to catch up on with my part-time business this afternoon, my cell has already been ringing.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

It is a very irritating thing when work interferes with MMC time  Have a great day, Brad!

Good morning, MMC!

Monday morning - yay! Lots of paper work to get through today.

Have a most MERRY day and be safe!!!

:merry:

The easiest way to post a picture on here is sign up for a Photobucket account. Then follow these instructions.

Okay, here is the Instructions on how to post a picture from the new Photobucket website. I've also included how to resize the pictures.

To post a photo using photobucket
1. Sign in to your account on Photobucket

2. To upload a photo click on "upload". Then click on "Browse files" to find photo on your computer. Once you select files to upload click "upload" button again. (To select more than one photo, Hold down the "CTRL" button on your keyboard while selecting photos)

3. Once upload is done click on "view library". (If the picture you want to post has already been uploaded just skip to this step after you log in)

4. Double click on picture that you want to post.

5. On right hand side of page, look for the "Img code" under the Image links.

6. Move your mouse cursor over to the "Img code" until you see a hand appear.

7. Click on the code. The box should turn yellow and the word copied should pop up.

8. Go back to MMC.

9. In the post that you want to put the picture click on the right mouse button.

10. Click on the "paste" option.

11. The "Img code" should show in the post and when posted the Image will appear.

To resize an Image using a photobucket
1. After the Image has been uploaded, click on the "Edit" tab.

2. Select Image that you want to resize.

3. Click on the "Adjustment" button under the picture.

4. A bunch of buttons will pop up. Click on the one that says "resize".

5. Change the numbers in the width and height boxes to the size you want. (450 X 450 is good for MMC)

6. Click on Apply.

7. If you like the size of the picture then click on "Save and Replace" above the picture.

8. Then follow the instructions above to post the picture.

Umm, that's the easiest way?
Just kidding, when I have a few minutes I'll see if I can figure it out. Thank you so much!

LOL! Photobucket really is pretty easy once you get used to it. I usually resize the photos before I upload them to Photobucket, though. Their editing software doesn't work well for me.

good luck!

Hey everyone! It's Monday and we are busy signing lease papers and stuff like that. The weather is beautiful here and we have seen plenty of snow in the higher elevations. I am ready to get home though simply so I can get some rest! Have a good Monday everyone!

Well, I must venture out in this blizzard for food! Our cupboards are almost bare.

Adrian is heading to be with him Mom for a knee surgery later in the week.

Can you please keep my MIL in your prayers? Her name is Dorothy, and she is a wonderful woman.

..A big animal lover, like us. She would willingly be in the crazy cat lady club, too! She takes many strays in, and allows them to call her garage home. She even heats it in the winter, and lays out blankets. She also volunteers at a local shelter, and covers their medical needs. Love her!

Thanks, friends.
