Days to the Season: 210
Days to Christmas Day: 252
Well, the "out of order" sign may not have been as plain as the nose on the doorkeeper's face in The Wizard of OZ, but the fact that tomorrow sees us to SINGLE DIGITS to the 200-day Season Milestone is as plain as the nose on Carl's face. (And let's face it -- that camel has a pretty big nose!)

And hey! We are ALREADY down to single digits to our next Milestone, the 1/3 marker to Christmas Day.
Wowzerattza!

After not having a Milestone Day for exactly a month prior, it will be a welcomed treat to celebrate two in a row!

Good morning everyone!

Happy 'Pines Day. It will be great to walk in and celebrate the mid-week with everyone later today. Also, there is only one remaining 'Pines Day for the month. Like the months before, April has been moving quite quickly!

There is not much new today. The sun is shining, but temperatures are only to reach about 11c (51f). Perhaps we will see an above average temperature in our forecast shortly. Until then, I will continue to be glad that warmer months are on their way.

Have a great Wednesday, everyone! We're nearly over the hump and soon we will descend toward another great weekend!

went for my morning walk and it was a beautiful morning!

Good Wednesday, Pinesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I finished cutting the grass and weedeating yesterday. Now Nancy owes me some money. When I found that the mower needed repairs, she starting complaining that it always needs repairs, and we just need to hire the grass-cutting out. We have a one acre yard. The cheapest quote we've had so far is $75...twice a month...for $150 a month! Nononononono.

I told her not only would I fix the mower, I'd cut the grass for $65! She agreed, thinking I wouldn't be able to repair the mower. I told her last night she owed me $65. Any bets on when or IF I'll ever collect?

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I am still waiting for my lawn to turn green again! I should however get out there and rake it.

Good Pinesday morning all!

Carl has some spring treats for us all! Can't wait to see what he has for us!

My work shift is changing. I end 1 hour earlier and start one hour earlier. Its been forever since we have had a work shift bid. Frustrating times at work. Its hard to work for a company that you are shamed to work for. Its also hard to find a new job these days. I NEED to find one because this company hasn't given me a raise in 5 years. I went to ask for one and I was told I wouldn't see one probably ever again. How are you supposed to keep agents when you say that?! But they do not care. My BOSS cares but the mangers and CEO does not. Horrible way to get treated. Enough of that. I'm listening to Christmas music to cheer me up. Hey its working! Couldn't make it to Dads last weekend due to icy conditions. Well back to watching my show! Have a great day everyone and see you at the Pines!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be a cool day here with a high in the mid 60's and some scattered rain showers. I really don't have much to do today. So I plan on doing some baking and waiting to see if my friend shows up. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whew Tue is over! I just got back from Jacksonville,fl. I made really good time and the Dr visit went good. I tried to get out of there before the afternoon rush hour started. It's about a 2.5 hour drive going 75 mph. I guess it will be my last time in Jax before we leave in early june..., great news is that we got an offer on the house, andit was a good one. I am not going to be making money off it and never expected too,BUT the good news is that it will feel good to get out from underneath that mortgage!! it was really a little too big for us..and esp. since I bought it before I even met Brandi and had the kids. Anywho our place in SLC is much better suited and it's a little closer to the city so we won't have to drive as far to work. They are still working on our floors...maybe by tomorrow they will be done..I am crossing my fingers though. Brandi is getting down to the last few weeks at school, and she always gets stressed towards the end of the semesters. so I need to be especially nice and sensitive to her:) I have to admit I am glad she is taking next year off to stay home with the boys...maybe she can tutor some I she wants to make a little extra cash.Anyhow it was warm today when I cranked up my car this afternoon it read101F but after it got running it went down to 87F but that is still warm...summer here we come!! have a wonderful evening everyone!

Are you already living in SLC? Are you going to be at Hill Air Force Base? I used to live out that way, for a while. Pretty country!

I am not much of a basketball fan, but I will be happy if they beat the Heat in the Finals, (if it gets that far) I am so sick of ESPN's fawning over everything the Heat do.

I'm with you...they love the Heat. I'll admit, as much as I don't want to, Lebron is the real deal. I do like Chris Bosh, but am by no means a Heat fan and like them even less since they beat my OKC last year.

Yea $150 a month to get the grass cut is a lot. I have allergy issues with grass so it is great to have a yard with very little. Our yard only gets a couple of hours of sun a day so it is hard to get grass to grow. We have kept most of the yard wooded and natural so we just weedeat. It takes a couple of hours each time. My problem is our son is a high school junior so I will be losing my helper when he goes off to college. Weedeating on the side of a mountain is hard on this old body...

I check out Christmas decorations on ebay often, there are such cool items there. Also some crazy prices people are asking for some of them!

Christmas decorations are the first thing I look for on Ebay, I am always looking for decorations that look like we had when I was a child. Every decoration we had has been missing/gone since the early 90's. :-?

I know where you are coming from, I am unable to get a raise now, and they keep taking my people. I have one other person besides myself to to a job that use to take six people to do. I hope you can find a new job soon.
