News just said the cold front came through our area and made the chance of tornadoes decrease! I am glad...was worried it would be a long night!

Thunder here all afternoon as well. We're holding our breath for the next couple of days that we won't have severe flooding. We've been asked to reduce our water usage to keep the sewers from backing up.

horrible day at work today......yesterday we were told we had until friday to deliver some unimportant coupon magazines (which won´t expire before July)......so everyone only took a little yesterday and planned to continue like that until Friday....little by little......tomorrow I get to work and suddenly we had to deliver all those stupid magazines today.....the magazines alone were more in number than I usually deliver all day.....all in all...I had about 550 letters/magazines to deliver.....which is 2and half times more than usually....the bike was so heavy.....I was so mad....because they told us otherwise...so we planned how to deliver and then they totally threw it off.....
I got up with a bad back ache.....and of course driving around a million pounds heavy bike doesn´t help....my back is very sore at the moment...and I am afraid I have this lumbago again...I had it last year and am not too keen on having it again....but the pain is awfully similar!!!!!

Rats...sorry to hear about your rotten day!
Hope tomorrow is so much better!

I ate a few leftovers for dinner and got so sleepy. I just finished a short nap, and I am still sleepy. It is also cold here in northern California. Hubby (who hardly ever turns up the heat) turned it up! Weird weather!

Okay, last year we had the dates for QVC's Christmas in July on April 18th. We had hints as early as the 10th. They need to get it in gear this year!!!!!!!!! I'm having Chad withdraws!!!!!! :lol:

So far no tornado warnings...flooding is a big concern.
This house hasn't been prone to it in the past, but received an email from the city saying it is a possibility and they are asking us all to do our part to keep the burden off the sewers as much as we can.

Not much going on here in northern California today. We went to a funeral yesterday for an 87 year old friend. We enjoyed a good lunch and reminisced for a while. There is one more this weekend for a nice man who died of brain cancer. I hope there are no more after that! That will be the fourth death in the last week and a half.

Not many plans for tonight. I think I may have popcorn for dinner. I am not really hungry. We also have enough leftovers in there, so I don't really have to cook. I think I might go eat now; my stomach is growling. TTYL
