Christmas Countdown - 2013

So I went to the hair salon this morning and my hairdresser didn't show up for work today. It would have been nice if someone called and told me to not come in. Unbelievable. Anyway, I ran some errands while I was out and now I'm going to walk the dogs again. I hope everyone is having a great day so far!!!

Good afternoon,

Just sitting here enjoying the day hoping the clouds open up soon. It is only in the low 40's and raw and JP has baseball practice, I don't really want to sit on the cold aluminum bleachers in a fine misty rain. The first two practices were days just like today, it wasn't very comfortable. I was watching the movie "The Benchwarmers" earlier and I nearly ate a whole box of Nerds candy, the king size box! I feel disgusting now, after having so much candy, but I still want to make some snickerdoodles for the boys and my wife.

Just got back from grocery shopping. The store was crazy busy & only a few lanes open. Isn't that how it always goes?!

It is really chilly here, windy, flurries and a high of 40. They're saying 60+ degrees by the weekend, I'll believe it when I see it!! We haven't even reached 50 degrees yet....

I need to work on my pre-exam review, so better get working on that.

That seems like the way it goes at the grocery store, and what happens to me is I get behind the one person who still writes out a check, or they are using a debit card for the first time and they can't figure how to use it. cheesy

That wood have been a good idea a simple phone call , did they not offer you another hairdresser did they even say sorry

They did say they were sorry and that someone else would do it but she wasn't due to be in the salon for another half an hour. I didn't feel like waiting so I just rescheduled. At least I got some errands done.

Has anyone ever seen the Kevin James movie Here Comes the Boom? It's been a long time since I've laughed out loud at a movie, but this one did it.

I highly recommend this movie, not only for the funny stuff, but also for a great moral. A truly wonderful movie!

Wet, cold, dark, and raw weather today. I'm craving comfort food for dinner, like meatloaf and/or mac and cheese. I'd have to make it when I get home, though, so it's not going to happen. Thats so funny, the banana Runts are my favorite too. I always buy Wonka candy for Halloween. I buy what I like so I can eat whats leftover!
