Absolutely! The turkey looks and smells delicious as it is being smoked!

Man that sounds good!! You have room for an extra guest??:hi:

Sorry you had to miss the festivities here at MMC this year. At least, though, you had the excitement of your new home!

hi friends!

a happy new year to you all and i hope you had a wonderful christmas. i moved house on 22nd december and my internet connection was dead until 2nd january so i feel like i missed all the fun.

my christmas was lovely and i cooked an amazing christmas dinner. over the last few days all the decorations in the neighbourhood have been taken down and i've had to accept it's over for the time being :(

i have got the sneakiest feeling that christmas 2013 will be THE ONE, the most unbeliveably amazing christmas for us all, and the way time flies it'll soon be here, so let's do what we do best... countdown to christmas and keep it in our hearts all year long!

Oh no!! I just received word that Target has went 90% off on Christmas stuff. Someone take my car keys!!!! I don't need more Christmas ornaments.

When I broke three of my ribs, I didn't feel an immediate pain. But, boy, howdy, I felt it big time when I coughed, sneezed, or blew my nose!
Same kind of pain here and I cannot lay on that side that hurts and moving and stretching hurts too!
Good Saturday morning everyone! I had a very busy day yesterday but also got good news...We took snowball to the Vet and the vet is sending his sample in to a urologist just to be sure, but the stones appear to be small enough to pass...so right now surgery is not required we just have to keep a good eye on him and give him 3 different pills every 12 hours...The Vet said the pills would make him want to eat even more.. He already eats more than me.lol
In other news It's our last weekend off. I go back to work on Monday after a 2 week holiday and Brandi has decided to go back on Monday as well.. She was going to wait until after the MLK holiday in 2 weeks but since the new semester starts on weds she gets 4 new classes for spring semester and does not want them with a sub for 2 weeks..So I guess I support her decision in going back. PCB"s still under control I guess after a week back a work I will get back into a routine. I will catch up here today I hope everyone is having a great weekend thus far!
Great news on Snowball! I hope he recovers quickly!

My nephew who was in an asthma-induced coma is awake and talking. Thanks for your prayers and kind thoughts!
Fantastic news!!!
Well I just lit my Harvest and Holiday berry Yankee Candles..I am one of those weird folks who do not like burning "out of season" candles. Soon it will be time to buy the flower frangrances like honey dew melon and honeysuckle and my all time favorite white Gardenia..In summer I buy midsummer nights dream, clean cotton and macintosh..I can remember when they were 19.99 for the biggest size now they are 30!! I alone keep Yankee Candle Co in business. Brandi keeps telling me we need to go to the Flagship store in Mass...I would buy them out I think..it's kind of sad using the last of my holiday candles up..PCB's have been awful this year..I think back over my last 4 Christmases since I have lived here. I joined this lovely Website the second year and am so grateful I found this place..I know we all feel this way. Anyhow I can't believe it's already after 1..brandi just called and said she was on the way home from grocery store...code: get your can out in the driveway and unload groceries!!!
I am the same way about scents of candles. For some reason I happen to crave certain scents that fit the season. I am not trying to be trendy or anything like that, just as fall comes around I like pumpkin spice scents, for Christmas, pine scents and spring/summer, floral scents. I have always been like that.
Is that okay with you and Brad, Made???
Yes, it's okay with them! Don't you like how I just make that decision for them?

You know, we need to all move to some town, gradually take it over and then rename it to MerryChristmas. Then as having all of you as my neighbors, we would all then have our christmas lights up and lit to this very day....could you just imagine...:wiggy:
Sounds like a plan!!!

That's right!!! Plus, CM3 is the Keeper of the Polar Bears and Meceka is a food editor. Made is in charge of techie stuff. Who else? Oh, RJD and Jayish are the radio personalities.
Don't forget, I wash the dishes!

You fly the jet!

Time for a pain pill and a quick rest before I start the rolls. My back is killing me!!!
I hope it helps and you feel better soon!
Sort of a quiet weekend here...as in the gas fireplace service repair guy that came over today set off a small gas explosion...thank God, other than the hair that burned off his arms, no one got hurt and my house is fine. Unbelievable.
Tomorrow, after Mass, I will begin taking down Christmas 2012 as my family ends the season with the feast of the Epiphany...waah!
But, the planning begins for 2013!
Wow! I am glad everyone is okay!!!

So good to see you!!! Christmas does always seem to get better and better every year!
At work on break quick hello. This is still not working at home, really missing you all.
We miss you too!!!
Good Evening! Hope everyone is having a good weekend. The family and I finally got around to seeing the Hobbit this afternoon.

Have been working on taking most of the Christmas decorations down this afternoon. Thought I would take a break and pop in to say hello!
:hi:

Enjoy the quiet time. I wish I had more of that sometimes!

it´s 10pm here right now...I am totally wasted....lol...no idea what from...but I guess this cold has just taken a toll on me...on Monday work starts again...and I am more exhausted than before the holidays...if I am not up to 80percent fit...I won´t be able to work...but I think I will make it....even tho I have the feeling that I would need one more week to get totally fit again...and a bit rested

When I first read this I thought you were drunk! Then I realized you meant you are totally wasted from being sick!

I am so sorry you feel bad. Snuggle up with Kandice, watch a good movie and get well!!! Get back to the doctor if you need to!

Looks like MerryCarey, Sugar and Shellie are going to Seawaters for dinner. Who else is going there? I want to come too!!! :-x

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is overcast and quite chilly here in northern California. Hubby and I will be having our Christmas dinner today since my lack of energy prevented us (me, really) from doing anything during the week of Christmas. The turkey is almost brined, the croutons are being dried and then will be toasted, the crockpots are ready for the gravy and stuffing, the rolls will soon be rising, the pie is store-bought, the eggs will soon be deviled, the potatoes are soon to be cooking, and the peas and cauliflower will round out the meal in addition to cranberry sauce. I think that's it. Hope I haven't forgotten anything!

Now I'm hungry again!!

If we can have breakfast at Brad's, lunch at Made's, then we can have dinner here!!!

Sorry I wasn't here. If I had known you were coming I would have waited and we all could have went to kfc.
