Hubby went to the Lodge for a quick Cub Scout meeting and then headed over to the church for Knights of Columbus meeting. The Knights meeting is a dinner meeting so I will fend for myself tonight. Not too hungry, so I will probably just snack. How is everyone tonight? TTYL

yip girl good idea. or is it possiable to even change vets, i have seem different vets no different things and use different drugs
By all means get on his case, wish has to be given the best chance,
dont feel beat up about not noticing it sooner, if they could tell us it wood be great, and we are not mind readers, you acted the moment you seen it,
and being honest idont think it wood have made a lot of difference
When your at it ask him about vitamins as well i will check this out for you
sometimes vets will not look into things, but your doing the right thing joining a site that deals with it goodluck

Can't believe the forecast is for snow next week. Were was it a few weeks ago . Ah well, might have to break the Christmas coffee cups out again. Any excuse have a good Thursday people.

I was about to sit down last night and go through the posts before bed when my Internet went for a walk or something. All I know is it was not here and working. (kind of like some of the people at work!)
But at least it is back now, so I can read through as much as I can between dishes, baking, vacuuming, laundry and cleaning the bathroom. Then I leave for work.

Gosh ! I wonder what in the world is going on with your internet ?? I hope it stays running xo

I remember my girlfriend being so cold all the time too. She wore thermal underwear and several layers of clothing.

I used to do that too when I worked at the hospital. I was always the one freezing but then they did run the air conditioner in the Winter.....Didn't care that I was cold so I dressed to the conditions. !! I even used to sneak in a heating pad. I figured I had a right to be comfortable too !! xo

I am going out with my mom on Saturday and then I get to see all the pictures of her trip down memory lane to Holland this past summer.

Hello everyone. It's been almost a week since I've been by the forums...I've had an awful stomach bug and don't think I've ever been this sick! Hope everyone is doing good and have a great Thursday!

Nothing special here---it's just Thursday. Time for tea while waiting for the work to hit my desk. It's been a slow week so far, but sometimes that means a deluge is on the way.

CM3, you are such a loving & caring pet parent!!
It's so hard to tell when they are not feeling well, unless they do something obvious to show us.
I wish they could talk to us, or I wish we spoke their language..
It's usually something that they aren't doing, like Wish not wanting his breakfast, that alert us that something is off.
And you were on that right away. Kudos to you.
Wish is lucky to have you, and you-him.
Good luck when you talk to the vet! Keep us posted. XO

Thanks, Snowflake. When I adopt a furkid, they are not "dogs", "cats" or "pets". They ARE my family. I know many people feel like I do. I just don't think I do enough for them. When they get sick, like Wish has been, I just feel so helpless. If I could give him one of my kidneys, I would......

You're not a freak!!!

My mom is doing better this morning. The headache is still there but it's better. My niece just had another infusion on monday and seems to be doing good. She hasn't really been complaining so my sister tries to not bring it up.

I found you some shoes to camouflage those toes...

My dad had toes that were joined together and he was always showing them off to the kids, we all thought they were great looking.
So never think of them a freaky, just unique and special!

Trust me, I LOVE to do stuff like that! It would be so cool to watch your mom. I always tell my students that if I could have one wish, I would wish I could go back in time with a video recorder and record my mothers life, sort of like Peggy Sue Got Married. If you narrate for us, that would be extra special. Could you upload to youtube?

That would be AMAZING.....To see my mother and record her life. But I would never want to leave her xo

That's right, Shellie. CM3 should not beat herself up. Even the vet didn't catch the effect of the medication on the BUN level.

Good morning! Just wanted to check in real quick and say hi!

Lots to get done today...Verizon was here already and fixed our wifi...yahhh! I have dinner in the crockpot already. I am doing Italian vegetable soup. It smells so good!

Gotta run though...need to get a shower, do something quick for lunch, then go grocery shopping, all before DH has to leave for work at 4.
