1773_10152406158395510_1340271518_n.jpg

this was only $5 at a local thrift store. Now I really have a project for this coming Christmas. Going to get it all painted and make a stable to house them in.
There were a few doubles in the set which is nice in case something breaks.
I have been wanting a nativity set but could never find one that was nice and did not cost an arm and a leg.

Very nice find, have fun painting them.

Make sure you make copies of the videos for your grandkids. That will be so special. I wish I could be there with you and your mom to watch the videos with y'all. That, too, would be so much fun. I'll bring the popcorn. Who wants me to pick them up in the Lear???

Wish and I would love to go !!!! xo

I forgot to tell y'all that I had to scrape my car yesterday morning before I went to work. It was really hard to open my door, too. Hubby said this morning that he will go out and take care of that for me. He is so sweet. Because of him, I can count on my fingers how many times I have had to pump my own gas in the last 16 years. I am so lucky!!!

Awwww...But he is preetty lucky too !! (((HUGS))) xo

Good morning everyone!

I read some posts. Glad to see that most of you are doing well. Very little evidence of a Christmas hangover as we are now two days into the first double digits of the year. January 11th. Yep. And, of course, the second weekend of the year is on the horizon, too!

It should be a fun one. Strangely enough, Kim is much more busier than I am this weekend. She has to help a friend prepare for a bachelorette tonight and then attend the bachelorette tomorrow night. They should have a great time! For me, tonight is somewhat open. All I have on my schedule is the gym. Normally, I would have to volunteer at the outdoor rink, but I believe that rain throughout the day and warm weather/rain throughout the weekend will close it until next week.

In regards to my knee, I had my first sign of positive news in a while yesterday. There have been times where I thought it was 100% before, only to be severely disappointed upon attempting to return to action. My doctor asked me where I was in my recovery. I said about 65%? He said I was around 70% and I should only require two more visits... as long as I do not have an unforeseen turn for the worse. More rehab for the rest of the month!

OK. I should return to work. I have a few things to tackle. Have a great Friday, everyone! The weekend is almost here.

So glad your knee is feeling better !!!

Excellent news, Brent. Glad that things are getting better. You are so good about doing what the doctor says about your recovery and the exercises. I am sure Kim will have a lot of fun this weekend!

Okay, what time does everyone want to meet for breakfast at Bernie's???

Hmm, I haven't thought about a name for the car. That's an interesting idea, thanks!

Breakfast starts around 6:30 on Saturday morning, including eggs, sausage (smoked & fresh), bacon & biscuits. Sometimes I even slice a ham. And, of course, lots of COFFEE!

Let me know what time you plan to land the Lear jet so I can have traffic blocked on the highway. cheesy

Has anyone seen, Becoming Santa??? WOW! What a great documentary. Very touching, brought a few tears to my eyes (happy tears!) and also really getting to see how hard Santa works! Of course we all know that! cheesy

I just got done watching it and WOW is right!! It was great.

Oh, my, this is WONDERFUL!!! Close to the beginning of the trailer, they showed a stained glass window. It is exactly like one from a church I used to attend! Thanks for this, Made!

Here is the trailer for it-

They are trying to raise the money to finish the film for general release.

I just went online and ordered the movie, the bonus clips, and the T-shirt. Couldn't resist. The kids have earned a movie time, so I think I will show this! Thanks again, Made.

He provides most of them, yes.
Carl is a very alliterative Camel.
I always look forward to what Carl has to say!!! =)
Try to figure out what years they are, and do it with music from that era. Or you could overdub it like the Kung Fu movies, "Give me the ball, young grasshopper!" cheesy
Yeah, Kung Fu dubbing! Ha ha!

I do plan to add music from her era starting in the 40's. Problem is, she really don't like much music from that time. I actually enjoy it more than her! Lol! She is more into Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Wilson Pickett, Elton John, well you get the picture! She loves a lot of hip hop music too! Her mp3 player is loaded with it! Sorry but none of that would fit in and I am sure if she saw the video with the 40's music she will like it. Some of the home movies was taken in the 50's and I know she likes some music from that time. It would be comical to see old footage with a hip hop beat!

I cannot thank you enough for sparking this idea! I have so many thoughts going through my mind as to what to do in the video. It will be a great gift. Thanks to you, MerryCarey for getting all this going in the first place! =)

Wish and I would love to go !!!! xo
You know most certainly that Wish is welcomed at my house to come along with you. All of your furry friends are welcomed!!! :D

I just got done watching it and WOW is right!! It was great.

I am glad you enjoyed it. I shed a few unexpected tears and smiled a lot through the whole documentary. It was surprisingly very touching!

Watching the trailer for, They Wore the Red Suit, I can't wait to see it!
