I wish you could see Giordan's face as I have read these posts! It is totally priceless! The other kids are telling him that he is famous. One girl said, "You are awesome, Giordan!" Another said he should get his own website because he is so famous!!! So funny! I am laughing just watching these kids interact with these posts. Hilarious. Thank you all so much. I told him I will keep checking back. Another teacher brought in a gift for me. Giordan's deskmate said, "You are stealing Giordan's thunder, Mrs. Waters!" I thought I would crack up!

Oh darn! See what happens when I get behind! I didn't get to congratulate him! But I am glad he got to hear what others got to post. I know that meant a lot to him! That is so cute what the other student said too! You were very sweet to him to do what you did for him!!!

If he has a chance to see this...

Xmastidings, I think I have mentioned before but since my Cowboys are not in the Superbowl (or even came close) I am pulling for the Ravens since my husband, Snow-in-Texas is a die hard fan. Everything around here has been purple lately so it's a sign! I had a dream about riding a purple bike last Friday, Sunday I bought a purple bike! I was not looking for a purple bike, actually an unusual color for a bike, but this one happened to have the features I like. Yesterday we took our granddaughter to Build a Bear, she picked out a full purple outfit and shoes for it. Another sign! I hope they win! After it's all over, back to the Boys for me!

Good afternoon, everyone!

Dinner is all ready and I am starving. We are having homemade beef soup and baked some bread to go with it - yum! My mom is such a good cook, I love family recipes. It is frigid out today. The temperature is only around 16° Fahrenheit out. Of course, we're supposed to get more snow this weekend. Between 3 and 5 inches. I am tired of the snow! I would like warmer temperatures and some sunshine. Anyone who wants our snow, it's yours!

I actually saw a Christmas movie on HBO this morning so I DVRed it. I will definitely watch it this weekend. It always makes me smile when I see Christmas movies or shows on after the holidays have passed.

I am going to grab some dinner and then come catch up.

Well let's see, we used to go white water rafting in west Virgina every year and we canoed all the time so I can handle those. I could usually get a fire going in less than a minute using fire by friction so that's cool. I worked at the rifle and archery ranges at the summer camp for 4 years so I should be able to handle that. I did the mile swim every year but I'm not that fast. I've rappelled before but since I'm scared of heights it's not my favorite thing in the world. Chopping wood? I've done plenty of that. The high ropes though, there's no way!!

So if they would let me pick and choose what to do, sure I'd do it!!!!!

I always used a backstroke. To me it wasn't as tiring. The hard part was staying on course though because you couldn't see the buoys behind you.

That's a good idea! That's what I end up doing after a few tiring laps, it's more relaxing.

I can honestly say, that I was totally blown away with the aspect of the company treating us??? Boy, that doesn't happen very often more like not at all....But, who's complaining! I'll take It any day.... So, It's purple Friday here today and I guess I can say; GO Ravens!!!!
