Well mom finally heard from the Neurologist. The MRI confirms that she had a mild stroke. The good news is that she is starting to regain some of the feeling in her 2 little fingers today.

That is scary but I am glad she is feeling better. I am glad you are able to help take care of her. I will continue praying!

I am all for home remedies! I keep apple cider vinegar in my cabinet at all times and use it for various ailments. I will add this recipe too!

There is a nice layer of ice on everything right now so I went out and put a heavy layer of salt down. Hopefully the radar is right and the worst of it is pass us now. Temps are supposed to start rising soon but it doesn't look like we will get above freezing until at least 5am. So it's still going to be nasty out when I have to take my mom to work at 6am. Goodnight Everyone!!!!

My dearest FIL passed away yesterday...
He looked so peaceful and beautiful laying there.
But it was so sad, so unreal. I still cant belive it!
At the same time, I just know he is in a much better place now.
His mom passed away last year, and I'm sure she and his father
was greeting him when he left this earth.
I'm sure they have a reunion up there... ♥

We have a tough week in front of us..
I just wanted to say thank you, for all your prayers.
I love you guys! ♥

I am so very sorry for your loss. I will be praying for you and your family.

I was sleeping so sound this morning that I didn't hear our granddaughter get here. Wayne let her in and watched her for me. He didn't wake me to let me know she was here, he just let me sleep! I am glad he did because I had a restless night. Now she fell asleep! She has been over all week and has not taken a nap so I guess it caught up with her.

I haven't caught up on all the post on here but will later. I have a lot to do this morning.

Oh, that sounds so good (except you can have my banana cake---bananas are ick to me). I didn't get a proper dinner last night. I was at the office until past 7:30, and I got so hungry I had a snack from the vending machine. When I got home I had a cup of cocoa and went right to bed. Your soup and sandwich would have been perfect!

Today looks like it may be crazy. There's a major new campaign launching, in addition to work for other clients.

Chilly beginning to this Friday. I have to go over to my former classroom and finish up two shelves and then turn in the key on Monday. I have had coffee and now am on a cup of apple cider. It feels so holidayish! CM3, a PM will be on its way soon!

It's rainy and cool here this morning. Times like this, I love sitting at a desk...LOL!

I usually have lunch with my brother and our mom on Friday, but she is going out to eat with some of her old co-workers. And I have to work all day tomorrow at Bernie's, so this weekend is a bust. Maybe Sunday will be a nice day.

The roads are terrible here. They haven't even plowed the off ramps, yet. I saw 2 cars in the ditch on the way to my first appointment. Can't wait to get done with my errands, and get home to enjoy the beauty of the snow...from my living room window =]
