anyone here ever watch the Duggers? Apparently being on TV has been profitable for them if they can afford to take everyone to China for a vacation. Maybe I should be on TV too? Better yet, lets make this into a TV show and then that will pay for us all to get together!

My sister started Elf on a Shelf this year, and my niece loved it. I love the creative ideas that parents come up with.

Tonight I finished the last candy cane from Christmas 2012. Just something I thought I would share.

They will be back in the store before we know it.

.If you ever get to Enfield, CT there is a bookstore in the mall called Bookmark It! (haha get it) All the books in the store are $3 or 2 for $5. The books are new with like a tear or a folded cover, or used gently. I just bought the book Secretariat there.

That book store sounds amazing !! I would love to visit it ! xo

Second round of shoveling done and it seems the snow is getting lighter, thankfully. That means more of it though.

so, got my resignation letter done and ready to hand in. The 27th will be the last day I make subs. Then on to ringing in groceries instead. Yeahhh, no more dishes to wash!

I just settled down in to bed with my Nook so that I could read for a few minutes and I was suddenly hit with a snowball! Let me see if I can figure out how to throw one back before I go to sleep. Goodnight everyone!

Hi everyone!!

Sorry I haven't been around in a few weeks but I have been completely tied up with school and I have finally finished my Bachelors Program with a BS in Information Systems whoo hoo!!! So I am taking a couple of weeks off before getting ready to start on my MBA. I hope you have all been having a wonderful time and staying safe in the snow The most activity we have had is some hail this afternoon. Have a great night everyone!!

Yeah, it's a heavy wet snow. So it's prone to give people heart attacks according to the news. That's why I been trying to go out and clean it off everytime we get around a half inch or so. That way I don't kill myself in the morning.

We now have DSL so I'm able to be on the internet from home!

It is poring snow now. Looking for 6-9 inches tonight. Everyone is welcome to come over for breakfast. We will have fresh snow cream! Remember to park at the bottom of the mountain and walk up.

The local community college where I work will be closed so I will get to stay home tomorrow and enjoy it.

I'll be there right after I drop mom off for work. I'll throw my sled in the back of the truck too. That way I can get down the mountain a little quicker than walking.

Yes! I just noticed when I logged on this morning that WNC is going to get a lot more snow than was previously thought. Where we went snow skiing up in Wv is going to get 12 plus inches...this winter has taken a good turn around. I have to say I was pessimistic(me yeah I knowlol) I thought it was going to be a repeat of last year snow drought but we sure are having a back loaded winter for sure. Even Blairsville Ga is getting in on the action this morning...
