We had more bad news this morning. We had a 17 yr old commit suicide Monday then last night a 15 yr old girl in our high school attempted suicide. She is in ICU in Asheville. Just like the first kid, she was struggling with a broken home. Her dad had an affair and moved in with his girlfriend abandoning his kids. Some folks should not have children. There are obviously a lot hurting kids out there. We live in a very small community, only 5,000 people in our whole county, so it hits everyone hard. Sorry to be a downer but the family covets your prayers.

So sad & unfortunate. They are in my thoughts & prayers.

You will be in my prayers and thoughts especially today. It doesn't matter how many years pass...the anniversary of the loss of a loved one is always hard....It will be 21 years this year for me since David and I am still a basket case on that date in November. (((Hugs)))) xo

She gets cold quick and I don't trust leaving the furnace to run unattended. We are praying you procedure goes well and nothing is seriously wrong. A trip to the mountains could be what you need.

Ahh! Please forgive me but I haven't had a chance to read but a few post.

I just logged in and got hit with 10 snowballs! Yikes! I owe some of you one.

I have been busy with the kids. Went to the park the other day and just got back from Six Flags today. We sure enjoy having those season passes! We might take the bikes out for a ride in a few.

The grandkids are going to the beach this weekend with their mom and dad.

Good afternoon, Christmas family

Done working for the day, in fact, have been done for about three hours. I am still searching for the ONE dress for my goddaughter's wedding. It is going to be like a "mini" overnight vacation from things here. I am going with my dearest friends (who are the parents of my goddaughter) and we are staying overnight at a hotel. There will no upheaval as there is frequently here that night. Just celebrating the great love my goddaughter and her new husband have for each other - and believe me, if those two could love each other more, they would spurt hearts through their eyes for each other !! I have not been able to spend time with my dear friends for a long time and I am really looking forward to this. Of course, I want to look my very best that day.

Wish is STILL doing fine and I am so thankful to the Lord above. As a Catholic of course, I have a new spiritual leader, Pope Francis I. Of course, I pray that our ULTIMATE LEADER, God, will lead Pope Francis in love for all of mankind.

I will be back later, Christmas family, at least I think I will !! xo
