Hello everyone. Man, my spring fever is in full force today, and it's hard to sit behind this desk. It's going to be in the mid-70s today and tomorrow! Saturday is supposed to be about 70, too!

I think I need to call in sick tomorrow, as a Friday in the mid-70s is too tempting. I'm sick of work! Does that count?

I hear its contagious, too! I don't want to get any of my coworkers sick. So, I'll take one for the team and sit tomorrow out...

I wish. I'll be here, like a sucker. :sad: Have a good Thursday, everyone!

You may keep me in your prayers, if you don't mind. Sunday I will be stepping down from a role I have been in for a while as I feel called to do some different things in my life. I have been so busy recently, and something has to give, so this role is coming to end so I can spend more time with my family and just take things a bit slower. While I'm looking forward to the change, it is still change and will be bittersweet.

My prayers are on the way.

Spring Break 2013 has commenced...and did I ever have to work for it today!

But it doesn't matter. Right now, I sit on the deck looking at my martin houses and drinking coffee. It's a breezy 73 degrees and you can hear the sounds of baseball in the nearby distance. I was going to go to the game, but this is the best weather we are supposed to get for the next few days. So, I'm just going to sit....

Wifey is on her way home....dogs are laying at my feet....and all is right with my world.

Have a happy milestone days....Christmas is coming!!!!

Enjoy your break friend!!!! You may want to do started on that nursery while you have a chance too!!!!

Oh, I promise Ive been eating right since my heart attack in July! I bet I haven't (knowingly) swallowed a molecule of cholesterol since then!

I'm finally back home, everyone. Thanks for all the prayers! I'll catch up on the posts over the weekend. Right now I think I'll snooze. They won't let you sleep in a hopsital! cheesy

Thinking of you on the day, Xmas. Have you thought about doing something on this day each year to celebrate your mom's life? What are the things she loved to do most? Did she have a favorite food or favorite book? You could make a special meal and remember her, and you could read her favorite book or excerpts from it. What was her favorite movie?

Her favorite movie was West Side Story, I wrote in a blog post some time ago about my mom, and how I have a lot of emotional scars caused by both my parents and I won't go into it here. I feel a lot of different emotions that race through my mind on 3/13, anger, angst, depression, not much cheer, most of the time I just want to be left alone. I will always love her, but there are somethings time hasn't healed.

Take care, MC. I had dizziness from an inner ear infection when I was a senior in college. It took a looong time to get over it! I had to crawl to the bathroom because of the dizziness. Not fun. Prayers on the way!

I knew a lot of kids in college who crawled to the bathroom a few times a week. cheesy

Caninemom, I suffer with chronic headaches/migraines too. I've been going to neurologists for years. I actually have an appointment with one Monday. Haven't really been able to find much relief. Its so frustrating!

I hope they can find something that helps!!!!

I forgot to add that including the kids could make this day meaningful for the kids to remember their grandmother. Is there a special charity that the kids could donate a little something to in memory of your mom? What was your mom's favorite color or favorite flower? Maybe you could set out a vase with flowers in her memory and recount to the boys some of the fun things she is noted for.

I honestly haven't told the kids too much about her yet, they just won't understand a lot of things yet. They know my mom passed when I was 16, but they really don't know much more than that.

Good Thursday afternoon, my Christmas friend!

Please forgive any typing errors, i'm using my cell in my hospital room. Also wathing the Christmas episode of "The Mentalist".

I had 2 more blockages in the same vein, so the doctor put another stent in. I'm feeling much better now. He said if I weren't already taking all my medicine, i would have had another heart attack. He said this was just another unexpected fluke, and i should have anymore troubles. Here's hoping!

I'll check in tomorrow. I hope y'all have a great evening, and thanks for the prayers! cheesy

Xmas is back!!! Yay!!!!

Man is it cold outside! I have frost on my car and grass out front. It is suppose to be nice and warm this weekend,then rain on Monday and get cooler in the mornings after that. It's so funny how winter did not arrive until Feb this year. In fact it's like it went from fall straight to spring. I don't ever remember tree pollen falling in mid January like it did this year. Anyways we are leaving first thing Saturday morning and will be back next Friday. I will still be around here though as I plan on taking my computer to Utah. Have a good Friday everyone!!

Whew, that was a long afternoon/evening. All of the eggs are filled though and I got to go to bob evans for dinner. I had the roasted turkey, dressing, and mashed potatoes and it was great!!! The caramel sunday wasn't bad either. Now I'm off to take a bath in icy hot before heading to bed.

I hear ya ! I think I have tried everything. The only thing that even helps a little bit is Fioricet. Keep me posted on what your doctor says. I hope you feel better !! xo

I love Yankee Candle as well !! I have ordered from them several times and everything is always wonderful when it comes - It is like getting a Christmas present for myself !! xo

My son is selling Yankee Candles as a fundraiser for the school, if it was Christmas time I would have a harder time controlling buying Christmas scents and stuff like that. I am not to into the flowery scents, my favorite YC is Macintosh by far.
