I have just a few seconds but I would like to ask that you lift Wishbone up in prayer. He would not eat his breakfast for me. It may be nothing but he has been drinking more and I suspect a change is happening with his kidneys that is not good, so if you could just say a quick prayer, I would be so grateful xoxo

Goooooood morning!

I have been awake since for quite awhile. We had a storm come through and it woke us up. It was so bad, our dogs were hiding and taking cover. Nothing severe, but it was the most spectacular lightning show I have ever witnessed. When it started, I promise you it didn't stop for an hour and we heard the sound of thunder at least 150 times. It was so bad at one point, Wifey said "Why don't you get up and look to see what's happening? It sounds like War of the Worlds outside!" So, I did....and I watched in amazement.....

Anyways....Spring Break=bike riding. I'm going to hit the road....see y'all later.

I did not put my cat, Charlie, on this game box! We got this game as a joke because of all the strays hanging around my house that we feed. The grandkids were playing it last week, left the game on the floor and my cat crawled up on it and ended up napping on it all day long. We left the box there because between eating and playing he kept jumping back on it and napped on it the next day as well. It just happen to be his spot to sleep for a couple of days. Ha ha! Now he is back to sleeping in the cat tree.

Is he trying to tell you something? cheesy

yes, there were 14 of us today and I got to meet a few and it looks like they are going to be fun to work with. One lady lives in another part of my complex!
I go back again on Thursday and then we will be at the store for the whole session.
The ice rain is here, I can hear it hitting the window. So glad I have no where to be!

That's great! Hope you make many new friends!! Work always goes faster when you're in good company.

And what a small world about working with a nearby neighbor. Maybe you could carpool sometimes.

Snuggle up with a good book, and enjoy the rain from inside where it's sAfe & warm!

xmas, have you checked to see if any of your local antique malls or have any available spots open and if they allow whatever it is your store would focus on? Some antique malls will not allow items made after a certain date. The one I am at prefers 70s or earlier for most items, books being the only exception.

I have not even thought of that. In this area we have a countless number of antique shops, being right next to one of the worlds largest antique show/flea market in Brimfield, MA. Everyone seems to want a bit of the action, my small town has 3 antique shops alone, Hampden, MA has antique shops and an auction house, Palmer, MA has at least 3 or 4 large antique shops. That isn't even taking Sturbridge, MA into account, there is a lot of competition around here.

Well, I must venture out in this blizzard for food! Our cupboards are almost bare.

Adrian is heading to be with him Mom for a knee surgery later in the week.

Can you please keep my MIL in your prayers? Her name is Dorothy, and she is a wonderful woman.

..A big animal lover, like us. She would willingly be in the crazy cat lady club, too! She takes many strays in, and allows them to call her garage home. She even heats it in the winter, and lays out blankets. She also volunteers at a local shelter, and covers their medical needs. Love her!

Not a happy Monday. Got rear-ended on the way to work---just slightly. I was stopped at a traffic light and the car behind me rolled forward and bumped me. Enough bumper damage to put in a claim, but no injuries. So I have forms to fill out and have to schedule an appointment with an insurance appraiser. Be careful out there, folks.

And we're supposed to get 4 to 8 inches of snow overnight. Make ... it ... stop. Please.

Sorry to hear about your little fender bender, just glad you are okay. Dealing with the insurance company is always an injury unto itself though.

I have decided that my neighbor is a hoarder and needs to get rid of about half of the stuff in his apartment. Or at least hire movers to move it all next time.

Good evening,

Just sitting here watching Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery, I didn't feel like watching DWTS with my wife tonight, so I am relegated to the bedroom to watch my movie. As MerryCarey said we have more snow heading our way, of course I am farther west than she is and it looks like we may have possibly another foot or so headed our way. I hope it misses us, driving in snow in this time of year is so much harder than the dead of winter. It is my day off tomorrow, so I don't have to drive anywhere but my wife does, even if it is only 1/4 of a mile away.

I just want to say it is great to see so many posts by everyone when I get home. To see almost 200 posts in March on a Christmas site is so heartwarming to know we all come here for the reason of Christmas, I love seeing us regulars posting and the newbies to the Countdown who have just started joining in on the fun. I guess that is why I come here everyday and panicked, even though it was only for one day, when I couldn't get here for those 36 hours. I am so happy to be a part of this. Thank you all.

I will be around for a little longer before I nod off.

Awww.....Thanks, Xmas. I look up to you and all the members too !!! I was so shy right at first, I didn't know what to talk about or say or anything !!! In fact, I think right at first there may have been a suspicion that I was up to no good as I had friended someone who turned out not to be so nice.....But here we are going on four years later.

I am so glad you stayed. You are one of my many heros here !!! You were the one who inspired me to blog in the first place ! xo
