It is snowing here ! I don't know where this sudden winter spell has come from especially as this week has been very much spring *puzzling*
I love the snow but I am ready for Spring now. My mom is visiting from abroad so I am hoping the bad weather doesn't impact on her trip - fingers crossed.

What do you call an unexpected cold spell in the spring?

We are at 41 degrees here, currently.

I have lots to study with my two new jobs so will be keeping busy there. Also have orders for several cakes in the next few weeks.

LOL, HomemakinGirl! Kids--what can you do? I remember wanting to spend the weekend with my friend--I had been sick for two weeks and we had planned the sleepover before I got sick. I had been out of school, and that Friday, I had begged to go to school because I knew that if I did not go to school, I could not go to Suzanne's. I got up, got dressed in a new outfit, and fainted before I got to the breakfast table. I really wanted to go over to Suzanne's so badly that I was willing to go to school sick. Needless to say, I didn't go to the sleepover!

That's funny Seawaters, although I'm sure it wasn't at the time. But yeah, thats pretty much the rule around here. If they stay home from school because they are sick, then they can't go out at night!

Good morning everyone!
I am going to bundle up and walk the dogs in a few minutes. Had them out back and its so cold. At least the sun is out. My hubby left for work already and my oldest also has to go in for a few hours. Not too much going on for me. I definitely need to food shop, I have nothing in the house. Maybe a quick visit to my parents house too.

Good Morning, MMC!!

It's a beautiful Saturday morning here, still quite cool, but calm & sunny.

I'm having my morning coffee, and watching ID. I'm so addicted to this channel.

What are your plans for the day?

I am going to meet my sister Shannon, and niece Alyssa, in Arcadia, Wisconsin for lunch. That's approximately halfway between Eau Claire & LaCrosse. Only an hour's drive.

Arcadia is known for being the headquarters of Ashley Furniture. I love that place! When we were ready to buy a kitchen table, about 8 years ago in Vegas, we went to the Ashley Furniture Homestore there. We still have it & love it! Our friends were trying to talk us into selling it to them before we moved.

So, does anybody need any new furniture? I think that we'll eat @ Ashley's pub. I didn't even know they had one. But, My sister has a co-worker who says that their restaurant had the best food in town. Kind of funny. This is small town USA, afterall.

Made, are you still good with your recliners?!

Hey, Snowflake. I am going to organize one of the counter tops and the kitchen table. Can I borrow/buy yours? LOL! Hubby will be making lots of spaghetti sauce for us to take down to his sister's next week. Have a great Saturday!

How was the movie? Goodnight!!!!

Sounds like a great night. Is the movie good? I've been wanting to see it.

Ok, just so you know what my idea of a good movie is.....it goes like this...

Small, casual conversation like "Hi, how are you?" Followed by a kind reply of "I'm fine, but you are a spy, bad guy, terrorist with an evil idea like holding the President hostage....and I'm about to start shooting at you."

This conversation is followed by an hour of shooting, explosions, crashes, and fights. Then there is a 15 minutes conversation where everyone laughs or someone is captured and interrogated, followed by another hour of shooting, explosions, crashes, and fights. It all concludes with a big kiss at the end (or a handshake).

If this is your kind of movie, it is awesome! I really enjoyed it....and so did Wifey. The only difference in my favorite movie and her favorite movie is that is has to have a good looking leading man like me (or Gerard Butler, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Daniel Craig, etc).
