I had a lovely day...weather was, as you know, sunny and relatively mild. I got out to the malls to look for some Easter goodies for my kids and little grandson. My husband keeps saying, "aren't the kids a little too old for those baskets?" LOL...but I love gifting people and I can't help myself!
I also bought my expected grandson, (due date May23rd) his own crib. I don't think my little Jack will be ready to go into a big bed as he will be just 20 mo. when the next guy makes his appearance!
That makes it all seems so real...Nana to TWO little boys.
I am super excited and so blessed!
Christmas 2013 should be wildly chaotic around our house...but I love it and can't wait!

Sounds like Christmas will be super magic for you this year !! xo

Good Morning MMC!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here with a high in the mid 40's. Then winter arrives late tonight. It looks like we are still on track for 6 to 10 inches of snow by Monday morning. Booo!!! All of the talk about convention last night led to me having an awesome dream. Instead of going to Louisville or Detroit, I convinced all of you to just fly here to Indianapolis. That way we were in between Santa Claus, Indiana and Bronners. Then Instead of renting hotel rooms, all of you stayed here at my apartment building since all of my neighbors have spare bedrooms and air mattresses. It was like a giant sleep over that involved setting up a TV in the yard for Christmas movies and Caroling in the middle of summer. Then we went out and rented a couple of passenger vans and made an overnight trip to Santa Claus, IN. Then we came back here for a few days show I could show you around town. Then we made another overnight trip up to Bronner's and camped out in tents in Meceka's front yard. It was a blast and a little weird. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome dream!!!

I'm ashamed of myself for being lazy today. I should be going through closets and storage areas rooting out stuff that should be thrown away so I can reclaim the space. Instead, I'm sitting here with a mug of tea visiting with you, then I'm inclined to head for the sofa to do some crochet after I log off. No big plans this weekend, and ... believe it or not ... neither of us has office or freelance work! It's a really truly weekend! Maybe that's why I'm feeling lazy.

You deserve a lazy day every now and then.

Talk about a day, I left for the grocery store at 11am and didn't get home until a little after 8pm. That's what happens when I run into my sister though. Not to mention the fact that Meijer was packed. I don't even know if I'v ever seen it that busy on black Friday. You'd think we were getting 10 feet of snow instead of 10 inches. I'll be back to get caught up after the Skillet is over.

Good evening,

Long day at work, I am feeling so sick, my ears are blocked, and just feeling crummy. I went through all the posts, just didn't respond to many.

Good night everyone.

Feel better, Xmas!! ((Hugs))

Beautiful--the church and you and your niece!

How far would this be from Made's? Maybe we could make a side trip!!! What is your "greeter's" name? What did you order to eat, or did you drink your lunch, LOL?

...And then I stopped at this wonderful little shop in Eleva, called Family Farms Market. They make their own cheese, wine, chocolates, etc. & have locally produced meats & fish too. They also have a beautiful gift shop & restaurant. It's awesome, and I will go back... Often!

Here's a pic of the outside:

Thanks, Seawaters!! Xo

It's the cutest little town, one of my Dad's best friends grew up there. When my parents came to Eau Claire with me to find a home, we drove through & he showed me where they used to fish. It was pretty cool! I adore the both of them!! Good men.

I am the same way, Momnan. I love to give gifts, especially when it is something that I know someone wants or really needs. How thoughtful of you to buy a new crib. That way, Jack won't be "traumatized" by having to sleep in an unfamiliar bed and have a new brother at the same time, two things that can be hard on a little guy! I think you are right about what Christmas will be like this year. I'll bet you all will have a glorious time!
