Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be another beautiful day here in central Indy with a high near 60 this afternoon. Then rain moves in overnight. At least it's supposed to move out early tomorrow so easter won't be a complete wash out. On my agenda for today is more cooking. I have to make my pie, finish my macaroni salad, and now I'm making a bunny cake too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, friends~

Happy Easter weekend!

It's pouring rain here, and it looks like it may do that all day. It's definitely melting the snow!

I have to wash bedding for the guest room, sweep, and wash some dishes before Nate gets here.

But first, I need more coffee!!

Before dinner last night, I stopped at my nearest stand alone Hallmark Gold Crown store. It was amazing!! I've never seen one so big! I seriously could've stayed there a few hours, just browsing. That will probably be my go to gift store. And it's only a few miles from the house They still had a small section of Christmas clearance!! And Keepsakes!

Now, my next project will be making a list of those. Which shouldn't take very long, because I've only been collecting myself for 5 years. I do have some that my Dad has bought me over the years, too.

I'm going to try and get some sleep. My oldest has to open at her job tomorrow morning. I like to wake up with her and cook her breakfast before she leaves. I don't have to but I know she really appreciates it. Anyway, I hope everyone had a great day!

My husband is so excited about the kitchen. He keeps telling me he's going to learn how to cook when it's done. I don't know why he had to wait for a new kitchen to finally start cooking, lol. But I'm all for it, it will be fun to cook together.

Good morning! My oldest just left to go to work for a few hours. I'm upset that she has to work tomorrow too on Easter Sunday. But she gets off at 6:00 so I'm going to change our reservations and make them a little bit later. Thaat way she can drive straight to the restaurant after work and meet us for dinner. I guess thats kind of late for Easter dinner but it means a lot to me that we are all together. Anyway, my youngest told me that she had a sore throat when she came in late last night. It would have been nice if she came home early to rest! I am going to call the doctor when the office opens and see if I can get her in today. And then my middle one has work later this afternoon. My husband is off today so he will be working in the kitchen. And I have to go food shopping at some point today. Thats about it for me. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

The Easter Beagle is on Sunday night at 7PM est. I miss some of VHS tapes, my VCR died a few years ago. I had stuff on VHS that has not been released on DVD. There is a store up here that has VHS tapes and the owner doesn't even charge you if you want them.

My daughters still have the tv's with the vcr's built in them in each of their bedrooms. Their friends make fun of them all the time, lol. They work perfectly fine.

We have the duo DVD/VCR hooked up in our room. In the den we have a separate VCR and DVD hooked up in there. There are some things that I want on DVD and replace the VHS so it's easier to look up chapters but a lot I will not replace because the VHS works just fine. Then, of course as you mentioned, there are some that cannot be found on DVD yet.

Xmas365, you might check out thrift stores or pawn shops for a VCR. They might still sell the duo set ups at some department stores.

I just purchased a VCR/DVD combo in December of January from Amazon.com. They had quite a few of them actually !!

Good morning, Christmas family

I am going to get ready here in a few minutes to go to my hair appointment. I am getting colored today and I am probably going to get some highlights as well. I am thinking something like this:

My hair is not this long and it is already "red" but I am thinking this might look nice but perhaps a little more subtle ??

Meanwhile, another hurdle passed in my "writing" career. I took the final quiz and got 100%. Now on to the FINAL EXAM. Arrrrgh. I know if I just take my time I can get 100. Also, I don't know what the teacher thought of my creative piece yet. I will find out soon I guess.

Your dad sounds JUST LIKE MINE! If he knows I have a love for something he will pick up things up for me and I try not to be a pack rat but he keeps bringing me things. Lol! I love the Beatles but I really don't need a house full of Beatles trinkets all over the house but he will pick up things here and there. Same with Christmas, he will pick up Christmas goodies from time to time. He is so sweet! Your dad sounds very sweet too!!!

I am feeling a little better today but weak. I really want to take my bike out and ride it. Maybe Wayne and I will pack a lunch and cruise the lake. I will take it easy and not get too far away from the car, like we did last time, in case I tire out. We will see how it goes!
