Good morning folks and happy Monday. It is a happy Monday for me to get me out of the backyard! I hacked Forsythia with a chainsaw for most of yesterday and it still looks like a weed that was left to take over for the last fifty years...that stuff is HEARTY!!!

I'm quite heartened by the countdown...Crown, you make me smile whenever I see your name!

I don't have time to reply to everyone individually but I feel the love with everyone's post about Louann. We truly are family here and it shines even more how we all pull together during times of sadness. I have made some very good friends here. I want to thank you all for that. I always say this is the best forum ever and it is proven that MMC is the best place to be with honoring the loss of a very good person.

We move forward and enjoy Christmas 2013 more than ever to honor her. She would have wanted it that way!

I don't raise birds, but the robins have come back and it is getting noisy outside here, too. I love it!

I love waking up to the birds singing. It seems we have an owl that has taken up residence around here to this year.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's a beautiful day here in Bellville today. Sunny with a high of 78°...nice! I was hoping the pine pollen was almost gone, but I was up half the night sneezing. I already take a handful of pills everyday, so I don't want to mix in another pill for allergies. Maybe the pollen will be gone soon.

School's out for Spring break this week, but Nancy is an accountant and April 15 isn't here yet, so we have no plans for a trip to my beloved mountains. We're taking Jacob and his best buddy out to see Jurassic Park at the Imax theater this evening. That should be fun (it better be for $17 per ticket!).

I hope to work more on the Camaro Tuesday evening, and maybe some bass fishing on Wednesday.

I still have a somber feeling, but I'm grateful for the blessing in my life, and grateful for all of you...my good friends.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a cloudy warm day here with a high near 70. Then the rain will move in again this evening. It's great to see everyone here. I wish that it could have been something different that brought us all back together but the important thing is that we are all here again. Like Brad said, that somber feeling is still there but we must carry on. So today I need to get back to avoiding my friend and do the dishes that CAH still hasn't shown up to do. I also need to go shopping for my niece's birthday gift. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

tomorrow is my baby boy's 21st birthday!!! Wow, can't believe it. I cooked his birthday dinner last night. fried cube steak, gravy, mashed potatoes, crock pot mac & cheese, biscuits, & green beans. it was his request. sounds more like a heartattack, doesn't it? Seth tries to fit in all his favorites @ 1x, lol. way too many carbs & fat but it's what he wanted. I will be making his birthday cake today. Strawberry is his favorite. I hope the berries are pretty & sweet, that makes a huge difference!
baby girl is headed back to school today. she had her spring break last week. No fuss from her getting up this morning, SHOCKER!

Will is going to the city police station today for his interview w/ the 4 captains. He's very nervous/anxious.He went & bought some new dress slacks yesterday for it. His sportcoat is too small. I was hoping he would be able to wear it & look "professional" but, NOT! aahh, it's ok, I think he will look nice in what he has picked out.
I had trouble getting to sleep last night. who knows what today has in store for me now....possibly a nap later, lol.

Thinking of Will today!! Best of luck to him with his interview!! =]

I did buy some new dish washing gloves over the weekend. They are really nice and should hold up to your sink full of never ending dishes! =)
