ouch, is it a problem with the cost that he will not go and get it checked? I hope it is not as bad as it sounds.

It's more of him just being stubborn. He has insurance and supplemental insurance so it wouldn't cost him anything.

I checked on him this morning and he is doing okay. He's still complaining that it hurts when he breathes and that his shoulder is killing him but he said that it's not as bad as yesterday.

And a good morning to you all!

I was so exhausted last night - I just couldn't get online. I most of my days on a computer and sometimes when I get home at night, its hard for me to sit in front of one.

It was a tough day yesterday too. My job is so pressure-filled, and I had a meltdown right at my desk and cried (literally)! Sometimes my work load feels so overwhelming.

I am okay this morning though - but would have loved to get just 10 more minutes sleep when that alarm clock went off! Hahaha!

Ahhhhh...but I am grateful for another day and that I get to go to work!

Have a merry and bright day!!!

I'm sorry that you had a rough day yesterday. Thinking of you!
Hope today is much better!!
(((Hugs))) xx

Morning Christmas Family,
My two oldest girls fixed supper for me last night for my Birthday, it was so sweet of them and then they even did the dishes! My Husband called to wish me a happy birthday and told me that him and the kids are going to celebrate my birthday when he comes back home on the 22nd. I told him I was happy with what I got a wonderful supper, and wonderful friends and family wishing me a happy birthday. But I know Him and he will make good on what he says lol. anywho, been watching the weather here and it looks like it's going to get nasty here, so keep us in your prayers please! as I am keeping my family here in mine with the weather and stuff going on.

I know today is going to be hard on everyone, but it's comforting to know we are here for one another. and I have been watching the threads and I made a signature and if anyone wants to use it they are more than welcome to. I like to tinker with pictures and make stuff like this and just wanted to do something to honor and remember Louanne.

here is the code if you want it http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee269/sassymomma2u/louannememory_zpsaaf96f7a.jpg[/IMG

just put the bracket ] at the end and it should work

and if anyone wants something made let me know, I won't mind abit tinkering for ya.

Hugs to all the family here at MMC I love each and every one of Y'all
Glad you had a nice birthday!!
That was very sweet of your girls to fix dinner for you =]

The weather is nasty here, too. Grrr! We should all be having spring like weather!!

I slept great, but I took an allergy tablet so I could. I might still be sleeping if Mouse hadn't woke me up asking for food. I hope you can get a nap in today! Take care, Made!!

A nap is definitely in the plans for today. If my buddy doesn't show up that is.

Oh, that is awful - I'm glad it missed your house! There must be a lot of tornado drills and special building codes to follow where you live. To stay living in the area after such a thing has occurred is very brave!

Well, Oklahoma just has a lot of tornadoes and it is something you get used to. Many homes here have storm shelters. Most years there's at least once in the spring where the tornado warning sirens go off and we run to the shelter. My home town hasn't been hit with one that has done a lot of damage since 2003, I think. Before that, we had the bad outbreak in May of 1999 I mentioned, and a fairly bad one in October of 98. Last year, the town that borders us got hit by one that damaged quite a few houses and knocked over a lot of fences and things like that, but thankfully no one was killed. It uprooted huge old trees and it looked strange just seeing them, roots and all, laying around. We took the kids out to see it after it happened and they were fascinated. But, it reinforced to them why we get in the shelter when those sirens go off!

Lol...i sure aint...she just stomped out of the room...im sure the ceiling of mom' s basement came off...lol

Stay strong, Mom!! xx

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's supposed to be 85 and partly sunny here today. 85?? Really? Didn't we just have snow last week? Ok maybe the week before but still. Since I'm working on 4 hours of sleep, my plans for today don't involve a whole lot of manual labor. Just some laundry and then some stuff on the computer that I need to get done. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

P.S.- I didn't reply to all of the quotes about severe weather because it would have taken forever but know that I'm praying for all of you to stay safe.

That storm system is headed our way, will see what happens to it when it crosses the lake.
Penny will sit at the window during a storm too, every time thunder rolls she ducks. Pocket goes and hides in the basement, does not like storms one bit.

Stay safe, CS!! Comforting hugs being sent to Penny from Har & I!! XX

I'm listening to the Partridge Family's "Come On Get Happy", and I am!!! I'm loving being here again and being part of the Christmas community...

It was 85 here yesterday...YUCK!!!

On the home front, the work is almost done, the painting being the second to last item on the to-do list, and they are there today...The final item will be the TV back up, this time above the fireplace, and the stereo hooked up to blast Christmas Music!!!

So life is good! Challenging to say the least, but good...

Hope today is a great one for everyone!

JayIsh:hello:

You home renovations sound amazing!!
Enjoy!!

Christmas party of the century at Jayish's house!! ;)

ok, really tried to read all the posts but am running out of time!
I have to leave for work in a few min, another day of getting the store ready for our opening day on Friday.

It is raining hard now, supposed to keep up and then turn into ice rain or snow by tomorrow.

So have a great day everyone, see you again tonight!

How is your new job going, CS?
I hope you are liking it & meeting some nice people. Xo

The forecast changed overnight - now it is rain until Friday and then rain/snow showers through Sunday. Poor Pocket! Mouse will stay wherever she is snoozing out unless there is very loud thunder and frequent lightning, esp. overhead. Then she will go sit in the living room or wake me up to hold her. Palmer is the one I worry about as she does not come when I call her unless I am eating cookies and she thinks I have a cookie crumb for her (one fell on the floor and she has been addicted to begging for them ever since). I have her crate ready. I'm going to hate to do it, but she will have to be put in there so I can get her quickly if there is severe weather on tap. Take care, Christmasstar!

They just can't seem to get this right, our storm forecast changes every few hours too :/

Stay safe, and please give Mouse & Palmer extra hugs too. They must get so frightened. xx

Tornadoes are crazy! My wife's house (where she lived with her family before we were married) was destroyed by a monster one that came through our area. It missed my house. My senior year of high school ended abruptly though, in early May, as my school got hit! Craziest thing...went to school that Monday, came home and that night my school got hit, my church got hit, and about half our town! It was a weird way to graduate, but that's life in Oklahoma! :-D

That is so scary. I can't even imagine.
You guys stay safe, too!!

We had the bluffs surrounding my hometown, so we were always told that we were protected. We still got pretty severe weather, though. A tornado did pass through the outskirts of town, with minimal damage, last year.

Where Adrian & I live now, about 90 miles north, we get stronger storms & much more snow.
