Homemakingirl, my daughter just got her license yesterday. she failed the driving test the 1st x. it's so scary to think my baby is driving now. good luck to your daughter.

Seawaters, I am sorry for the loss of your friend. I pray the family & friends find peace.

Snowflake, Daisy goes to the groomers on Friday. she's such a nervous Nellie when I take her. I wish we had a mobile groomer. I try to pick her up as soon as possible so she doesn't have to stay longer than necessary.

Good morning everyone!

It appears that we're in for a couple of wet days in Ottawa. Despite the rain, however, the temperature is to reach the mid 20s (lower 70s) tomorrow afternoon. That should feel real refreshing! Other than finally moving into Spring, not much is new here. I think I am ready for the weekend. But, then again, who isn't?!

Have a great Thursday, everyone! The weekend is in sight. We just need to keep our legs moving for a little longer.

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I left work early yesterday to go to Jacob's track meet, and it was getting hot under the sun. It's supposed to be near 90° tomorrow, then upper 60's Saturday. Ain't that crazy?

It sounds like it's going to be a chilly evening for an outdoor concert Saturday night, eh?

Good morning all my Christmas fans. Tonight is the weird al concert in Nashville so taken day off to relax and clean a little. So hoping your all having wonderful day and night.

I had a few minutes and was looking at the weather at my new home in Utah and it is 28F right now and in mid to late April they are under a freeze watch!!! this is awesome..this coming winter I am going to have more snow probably than I ever wanted to see. I liked living In ga because the once or 2 times a year I drove up to the Mts to see snow was that much more special. But to actually have the white stuff falling outside my home next year gives me the butterflies in my stomach...People that always see it just don't realize how special it can be. I already picture us putting up the tree with snow falling outside and the fireplace crackling. I may even see snow before Halloween!

No,I won't be in SLC until June 6th. but we have already been there to look around and stuff..I think I will like it.. and yes Hill AFB will be my new place of employment for the next 3 to 4 years. I will probably retire after that!

I have quite a few friends out that way who are part of a church not far from Hill that draws some Hill employees.

I used to live in Brigham City, which isn't too far north of there. I wouldn't mind living there now, but don't want to uproot the kids or anything. I can let you know of some good places to eat and hang out in that area, if you're interested. Let me know.

In Utah once, in late May, I was driving through Logan Canyon and it started snowing on me! It didn't stick, but it was kind of cool to see. I was in shorts and a t-shirt, driving through snow. Then, when I got through the canyon, it was back in the 70s.

Hello everyone! It's going to be sunny with temperatures in the 50's today. Cooler than yesterday but I don't mind. My doggies have a groomer appointment in a little while. I predict one of two things is going to happen. Next year is going to be abnormally warm and you will only see a few inches of snow or you are going to get so much snow that you will be ready to move back south. :lol:

Happy Thursday friends! Another day closer to the weekend, another day closer to the Christmas season...I find myself at this time of year, and on into the summer, really planning in my head about what I want to do and what I want to see in December...I like to listen to the music on my headphones and no one knows but they must know something is up by the smile on my face.
