Today, I'm going to sit here and drink coffee for the next few hours, then I'm going to go to work. After work, more nursery time and then I'm cooking supper for my lovely wife. She doesn't know it, but this is the day that we (just me and her) celebrate her becoming Dr. Wifey in 13 days....DR.!!!!!

That's so nice of you to do that for her - you're such a good hubby! Enjoy your evening together!

hey my friends....we are back from kandice´s two game field hockey tournament...it turns out that almost all of them never played a real game...so they lost the first game since they had not idea what to really do...but in a very cute way....then they won the second game 8 or 9 : 0 ....they really played a good game then....attacked the opponents...ran a lot....they just played, really, really good....and it turns out Kandice is like I was.....a fast sprinter who will probably play in the attack as a striker....she only practise once since Christmas and played a great game.....almost scary to imagine her play some when she practised more and more....my daughter is a hockey superstar...

Way to go, Kandice!!

Good morning, Christmas family!

Great night at my brother and sister in-laws last night. We watched the race (which was boring) and sit around and talked. They have a son who is 13 and is gifted in size and he loves to talk football with me...which I love to talk about. So between the food, the race, the laughing, and the talking about football....it was a great night.

Today, I'm going to sit here and drink coffee for the next few hours, then I'm going to go to work. After work, more nursery time and then I'm cooking supper for my lovely wife. She doesn't know it, but this is the day that we (just me and her) celebrate her becoming Dr. Wifey in 13 days....DR.!!!!!

So, I'm off....have a great day and I will catch y'all tonight!

A Good Sunday morning, to you all, friends and fellow countdown enthusiasts!

I hope you had a wonderful time celebrating yesterday's 200-day to the Christmas Season Milestone. Most of all, I hope you're ready to celebrate today's mini-Milestone! Yes, today is one of those hidden gems that will certainly make you smile.

Smile? Why is that, you ask? Simply because we have 199 reasons to do so! The 200s of the countdown to the 2013 Christmas Season has past and the final triple digit Milestones lay ahead. Until we reach those, however, we can all enjoy in the wonders that the Spring and Summer seasons bring! OK. No more delay. Let's get to that wonderful countdown!

Doesn't that look great? We have done it, friends. 199 reasons to smile, indeed. Onward and upward! As for our next goal. You'll be happy to hear that the next milestone is officially two weeks from Wednesday! In fact, I will provide you with an exact countdown for this, too.

Days to 1/2 to the 2013 Christmas Season: 19

There appears not to be a cloud in the sky and the bright Spring sun is shining down on Ottawa today. In fact, I think we are in for a real treat. Today will be the warmest day of the year thus far! The forecast calls for sun all afternoon and temperatures to reach 21c/70f. With the rough Spring we've had, the warm weather is quite welcome in Canada's Capital. Hopefully Mother Nature will celebrate by encouraging those beautiful trees to bud shortly!

Currently, we show 12c/54f degrees in Canada's Capital. I hope that you're all seeing some beautiful Spring weather, too.

Have a Super Sunday, friends! Enjoy the final day of the weekend. Tomorrow, I look forward to becoming a spectator, once again, as Crown re-assume his rightful position of leading us toward the wonderful celebrations of Christmas 2013.

How we all doing this morning
Am cleaning up, and was in the spare room and can on a box
of christmas stuff i had forgot to put away in it was your guys christmas cards, louannes was there to, so that made me sad. but i will put it up this year for if she had of been living she wood have been senting one }
Had a rough few days with the man am looking after. hes now in the hospital . and am ok with that even if it does mean running to there
Yesterday they moved him to a cancer ward and he went pure mad and i mean mad, he was all confused anyway as he is on morphine tablets and he has a infection as well. he was really bad to the nurses. and they said they said come up and try and settle him as they were gonna maybe have to give him somthing to knock him out.
Anyway i asked nurse to keep a eye on him as he chews.bits and sucks his tablets . and he is on a moprhine slow release tab. which has to be swallowed whole. i said this to the nurse she looked at me and said no not really, i did not have access to the internet i wood have proved to her that what i said was right , like his teeth were blue where he had been chewing the infection tablets . and this unit is supposed ot be a unit that is good with cancer.
Ok enough of that ~} hoping you all have a good sunday even if its only laying in front of the telly

She's doing good. I think I'm going to take her to the mall when it stops raining to let her drive around for a bit to make sure her leg is back enough to drive to work again.

I´ve been hilarously tired the last three days...now I know why.....a bronchitis has been lingerin since then...and today it starts to really come out...nevertheless...I will sleep very, very well!!!!

Update from one of our weathermen on facebook-
cold core low sets up late next week as advertised a few days ago..and YES its possible that wherever this low establishes its self that accumulating snow falls! Not only that but thunderstorms and flooding rains will also become a concern late next week!




I don't think I've ever seen snow in central Indy as late as may before!!!

It's getting to be a Sunday morning habit to sit down with the laptop and visit with you after breakfast. A good habit!

We're just thoroughly enjoying our weekend-without-work-or-plans. After morning errands yesterday, we went to D'Angelo for a sandwich, picked up some groceries, had a little dessert at the Dairy Queen, watched some movies and DVDs, and hit the sack. No particular plans for the day ... hooray! And the weather is beautiful. Work has been so demanding lately that it's good to have a free weekend to really recharge. About five weeks to our vacation ... that keeps me going during busy workdays, too.

Always thinking of you all, even though I don't respond to every post.

Gotta go put the laundry in the dryer.
