You are such a good son, Made!

I took mom to the mall and let her drive around a bit. She did fine so she drove home. Then I took a 3 hour nap. So that's 12 hours of sleep today. I think I could be like Dawg though and go back to bed for another 12. I think all of the sleep wore me out.

Goodnight!!!!

Do you phone in your order from your table, Snowflake? What is in the basket with the burger? It looks like hush puppies to me!

Good afternoon, friends!!

Hope you're all having a beautiful Sunday!!

My sister & I had a fun afternoon. We got to Dodge Street Grill & it was closed, not sure why because the sign on the door said they were supposed to be open, as well as the hours on the Internet, lol. So, I reminded her of a root beer stand we used to stop at on the way to our summer vacation every year as kids. So, we took a chance and low & behold, it was still there! Brought back many good childhood memories. And it was delicious!!

I'd rather spend my money at a Mom & Pop place any day.

Harlowe & I just took a walk- it's 74 degrees & sunny, with a light breeze. Perfect! Now, we will chill on the deck & people watch =]

Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!!

xx

Good evening!
I can't believe it's this late already, the day flew by. I did some shopping this afternoon and then I decided to visit my parents which kind of threw me off schedule. I fell behind on my chores but that's alright, tomorrow is another day. My hubby started to spackle the walls in the kitchen, he finished the first coat. He's making progress, slowly but surely!
I hope everyone had a great weekend!
Goodnight, pleasant dreams!!!

Will you receive your license after that, or do you have to have additional training/testing? Is it very expensive to do?

I completed my real estate course book & lectures, and now I'm doing the review / prep work for the practice exam. Ahhh! Thanks for asking, getting excited & a bit nervous.

A quick story about the weekend and then I am going to bed: One of the members of the Redding Lodge has leukemia and had undergone treatment three days before the competition on Saturday. He was extremely ill and carried around his "bucket" in case of throwing up. I just happened to have six packets of my anti-nausea medicine that the doctor had prescribed for me. It is a pill that you put under your tongue and let it "melt." He had not heard of it and assumed his doctor had not either since she did not prescribe it for him. He felt better almost immediately and could not thank me enough. He told his mom about someone helping him out and she told him to be sure and get the name of the medication. I gave him the remaining pills I had. When I saw him at the awards banquet Saturday night, he looked so much better and told me that he could not believe how good he felt. I told him that I felt good just being able to help him! He said his first job on Monday is to call his doctor and order some of the pills.

It is dark outside, and I'm on the deck reading ghost stories on my phone. Har is here to protect me ;) I think I've lost my mind.

Goodnight, friends!!

Hi everyone, I'm back. Sheeesh, It's amazing just how many posts you can get behind on in such a short time. I don't think I can ever get caught up on so if I missed anything, I'm sorry. I have had a whirlwind week myself and am so overwhelmed at the moment.

As you know, I had surgery this past week (Monday) and I am at home recovering; things are going good and I hope to be fully back on my feet within a week or two. On tuesday, My son left for the Air Force (bootcamp); he called yesterday and said everything was fine and gave us his mailing address.

We also got a call from my brother and informing us that my father was missing, the police found him unresponsive, in his car, up in Pennsylvania. They believe now that he had a stroke and got confused and drove to PA???. he is in the hospital, going thru tests and they still don't know the full extent of things.

And in the mix of everything, we are in the beginning stages of moving...

Now, when I read some of the posts here and see sometimes that some of you are having some heck of a time with everything that is happening to you all at once, I think to myself, "wow, that's awlful, and I feel so bad for them..." Now look at me, good Lord, it's almost like what possibly could go wrong is happening all at once, (I sure picked a good time to quit drinking...lol:lol:)

Well, that's my boo-hoo-hooing for the day, I feel all better now, I surelly hope that your week is alot better than mine has been. Hey, It's the weekend, It's time for some grilling and chilling.....

I'm so sorry to hear you are having a rough spell. Keep faith and courage, things will get better. Thinking of you xx

Good morning MMC! How's it?

Tomorrow I'm fixing my Mama her birthday dinner. I found an awesome cake on Pinterest. Well, I guess it's a cake? It's made of ice cream sandwiches, caramel, cool whip, & peanut butter cup. NO BAKING, yaay! My Mama loves ice cream & peanut butter so it was an obvious choice.

I love Cake! Any cake! This cake sounds Grrreat!!!!

Wow!

That's about all I can say. This has been one crazy week. Chaotic. Ballgames, meetings, interviews, and a quick trip out of town. But it's all over....at least for the next two days.

My plan for today is to do a little work, work on cleaning out the future nursery, and catch up on the board. I'm about 500 posts behind and I got all day to catch.

Hope you are as excited about your Saturday as I am mine!

Hope you managed to fit in some rest time over the weekend.

Good morning, MMC!!

Happy Saturday =]

And what a beautiful day it is!! I've got the windows open, and fans going. Nice to circulate some fresh air through the house!

It is sunny, with a high of 73 degrees. Going to enjoy it, next week it'll get back down to the 40's for a high, with thunderstorms for a few days.

What are you all up to?

Have a wonderful day!!

xo

I am so jealous of your glorious weather! I can't wait to have some warmth and sunshine over here!

Good evening! The weather was beautiful today. My husband spent most of the day cleaning up the yard. He power washed for hours and started putting mulch down. He'll be back out there tomorrow. I'm kind of hoping that he will finish up out there tomorrow. I need him to get back to working on this kitchen. Anyway, I took my daughter shopping this afternoon and she finally got a pair of shoes for prom. Next thing we need to do is get the dress to the seamstress so it can be altered. I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!

How wonderful that you could make such a difference to someone. You are a kind and generous spirit xx

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Grey , freezing and gloomy here in the north of England. Not much planned today apart from some house chores. Have a wonderful day everyone!

How wonderful that you were able to help this man to feel better, that is so heartwarming xo

Hello everyone!
I am having a cup of tea and I'm watching the local news. It is going to be cloudy today, a chance of showers with a high of 60 degrees.
I don't have too much planned, typical day of errands and chores. I thought my washing machine was broken yesterday because it stopped working in the middle of a cycle. But when my husband went to look at it he couldn't find anything wrong. So weird, not sure why it stopped. I'm just happy there is nothing wrong, its so inconvenient when the washer or dryer break down.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!

Good Morning, New Week Wonders.

A new week indeed!
Will there be a letdown after last week's Double Milestones?
After the 100's to the Season has already been reached?
Well.
What more can there be?

Try this:
Days to the Season: 198
Days to Christmas Day: 240
And if that isn't enough, get a load of our NEXT Milestone.
It's lurking close. So close, if it was a snake it would bite you!
Dying of suspense?
OK.
It's Milestone number 8
It's only 16 days away.
And...... IT'S THE ONE HALF MARK TO CHRISTMAS SEASON 2013!!
<< Is that possible Crown? >>
Well, just check out our post #1 chart and see for yourself.

Great weather was had at the coast and I got done everything needed to date.
Will likely go back one more time in early June to complete things before the first renters arrive.
We are at degrees here currently, with a light rain falling.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone!

A special THANKS to our Brent for filling in over the weekend and seeing us safely through the 200-day Season window in style.
(Classy style, I might add!)

You got this Snow! I have complete confidence in you to do great things!

Do you have any of the cake leftover???? [[/URL]
Yeap, that cake went a long way. Mama took some home w/ her & we had some to, want some?

lots of people either already in crazy town or want to go, that is great...now anyone know where it is?
Sure do.....Right here in South Cackalackee! What y'all wait 'in on?

Xmas Tidings, I was going to ask about your dad and kept right on reading instead. I can only imagine how terrifying that event was for you and your family and for your dad! You are all in my prayers.

Shannon, guess what was here when we got home today? I am going to look it over in a few minutes. I am glad the cake was a hit!

I am like Neal. I have been lethargic all week and took long naps last week and this weekend. I was ready for bed about 7:00 p.m. Yesterday, we took a nap in the afternoon and woke up about 4:30 p.m., started watching TV before getting ready for the dinner, and ended up taking ANOTHER nap until almost 6:00 p.m. I am going to read some more posts and read over Couponing 101 before I call it a night!
Yaay so glad u got it, hope it'll help some.
