Yesterday I watched The Brady Bunch (yes, love that show still). It was the Christmas episode where Carol loses her voice due to laryngitis. I love when Cindy ask Santa to give her mom's voice back for Christmas so she can sing at church and he she would be able to sing. Her dad says, "Santa can't do that, he's not a doctor". Cindy says with a big smile, "He's better than a doctor, he's Santa Claus"! You go Cindy! I'm a dork, I know! Yep, I love that show! Ha ha!

Hey guys...I'm off to bed soon too. Busy weekend with a First Communion in the family to celebrate and helping my daughter get set up for the new baby due in two weeks.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!
 
I haven't felt well all day. I was supposed to go to Chico for some scrapbooking, but I just couldn't get to feeling better. I really want to go tomorrow; it's an all-day event. I think I will go rest before going to bed, LOL! Good night, all. Momnan, have fun with the First Communion and helping daughter get ready for the new wee one!
 
Good evening!
Just picked my youngest up from work a little while ago. She is so tired. She worked a seven hour shift straight after school today. And she has to take a SAT first thing in the morning. Then back to work after the exam. Ugh. I feel bad for her. At least she likes the job at Haagen Dazs. And my middle one started her hostess job tonight. She loves it. She is friends with a few of the busboys and she said they had fun.
I spoke with my father today, he sounds exhausted but is in good spirits. He told me he has a great view from his room. He can see the Chrysler Building and the Empire State building. The doctor said he should be able to leave in a couple of days. Thats good, he really wants to go home.
I have a baby shower to go to tomorrow, I went shopping today for a new outfit to wear. I also went to the supermarket and did my food shopping, I just need to run to my butcher in the morning for a few things.
The weather has been nice the past few days, sunny with temperatures in the lower 60's.
I hope everyone is doing well and had a wonderful day!!!

I have never been into to Ice Hockey before, but recently, I started to watch it, and I like it... I don't fully understand it yet, but I do like it... I think that sport may have a new fan~

I am a BIG hockey fan, Miracle is a great movie, but I do have to say my favorite hockey movie is Slap Shot starring Paul Newman It's a bit vulgar, but very funny.
Do you follow any team yet?

Good morning everyone!

Well. My final day at Health Canada has arrived. At 12:30 pm, I will be leaving work for a physiotherapy appointment. It will be the end of my final shift here. I've been in and out of the office since November 2011. Although it would be nice to come but, I'm really hoping to have something permanent before I can return here next year. We shall see! Onward and upward, as they say.

My dad arrives today. I'm excited. Again, he's driving from Sault Ste. Marie and should arrive around 3 pm. It should be a night filled with hockey watching. Who am I kidding? It will be a night and weekend filled with hockey watching! We'll see if he has any other plans when he arrives.

Hopefully I'll have time to enjoy the weather this weekend. Again, temperatures are to be in the mid 20s all weekend. And, of course, the sun will be shining, too. I love all the seasons, especially Winter, but it is truly a great feeling to finally have warm weather back in Ottawa.

Well, I hope you're all ready for the weekend. It's only a few hours away. Have a great Friday!

We got 11.7 inches!! The city got just under 10 inches, but we are just outside of it. Crazy!!

Further north got 16 inches!! Holy cow!!
