I woke up to rain this morning and I love it! I just wish it were cooler so it would feel more like fall. I have LOTS to do today, thanks to the laundry reminder, LOL!!! I will check in often throughout the day. TTYL

Sheila......I am praying for all of You....I´m sure everything is fine, but understand how the waiting for it is terrible. Please tell Your mama how many people are thinking of her and have her in their prayers!!!!

I guess listenting to Yoiur favorite music will help You calm down....and You said Your mama loves Disney....so maybe her watching many Disney movies will calm her down....or listen to Disney songs........sorry I think it sounds very silly...but I couldn´t think of anything else

Just got back from the vet for Chico's check up on his heart. He is still doing so well and I am very happy about that!

I am having a gratitude moment but you know that raise I mentioned and I said I never expected it? I am so content there that I was happy with what I already made! It's not much either but very content! Might be a dumb response to my boss when I got the raise but I actually told him, "Why? You didn't have to do that"! Ha ha! It's like working for my family, they treat me so well along with the other employees that I feel like "I owe them"! I just love that place!

Thanks again for the well wishes to my mom. I will pass that along to her!

I am so tired, didn't sleep all that well last night because of sinus problems so going to get rest.

I hope you all are having a Merry Monday! I know I am!!! :wiggy:

Not silly at all! You know what she has been watching??? Spongebob Squarepants!!! Ha ha! A great grandmother who loves that silly show but it entertains her! I get a laugh out of it too sometimes. She cannot tolerate the depressing news so she is watching that since it's silly nonsense.

Good Morning everyone!
It will be a busy week for us. My mom is getting ready for surgery Wednesday and is very nervous. I am no help because I am nervous too! She is such a highly active person and I hate seeing her not being able to get around much and hurting but after this surgery and healing she will be back to her old self. I cannot wait to move forward with it all!

Good afternoon everyone. I have ZERO motivation at work today! The weather is nice, I'm off Friday, heading on vacation in less than a month. It all adds up to the perfect storm of not caring. But, I'm fighting through it.

Needed a little Christmas so I went to the Hall of Fame section of the forums and looked at some of the images in the Christmas Blossoms thread. Is it late September yet?!

That's interesting, 'cause Gloria's sister Bonnie loved Spongebob Squarepants---she was in her 70s at the time. A couple of seniors who are "hipper" than I am!

Me too, and I'm excited. When we updated to our iPhones last month, that was actually the first thing I thought of...can't wait until the fall when I can go hunting for signs of the season!

There is a very funny cartoon that runs on the Disney Channel called "Gravity Falls." I think I enjoy it more than my kids do!
