It's been a crazy week. Yesterday we buried my Aunt who lives next door to my parents - so I was blessed to be raised with my awesome Aunt/Uncle living next door.
Poor Noel woke up with a fever so we're just hanging out at home on this rainy day.
Hello everyone! I really hope you all are doing fine. :] I haven't been here for a while now. I missed the Christmas spirit the forum community brings even though the summer is almost here. ^^ I'm quite excited and feel very strange today because I have taken my last examination at the university this year. So I can now say that my first year at the uni is completely and oficially finished. It sounds pretty scarry actually. Before I started university 'one year' or 'four year course' had sounded as a way longer period of time. But now, I realize how quickly time actually flies. :] Majority of my new friends are leaving the town for a summer soon so it's going to be really quiet and boring without almost anyone around (because I'm not sure about my summer plans so it's really confussing me). I hope you all guys are enjoying the soon-to-come summer. If anyone is ill, I wish you to get better soon; if anyone is going through a hard time now, there will be better times soon - life is like that: full of ups and downs. Hugs to everyone. xx
Sick child over here, again... seems like between my 2 boys and my niece, one or all kids have been sick for weeks now... blah! Poor Noel woke up with a fever so we're just hanging out at home on this rainy day. Jude has tball photos that we have to skip because hubby won't be home in time and I'm not dragging a sick 2.5 year old out in the soggy weather at bedtime for some photos. What a scrooge of a tball mom I am, huh? hehe!
We just read through the
AGAIN! I am going to put Elf on a Shelf on from my DVR now, I think!

GM all my wonderful friends. Been a busy week at work since having to do double shifts. The silver lining of course will be when i get all that extra money in the next paycheck. So the wife and i decided to finally take a mini vacation this coming OCT it will be our 7 th year together and 5 yr Anniversary. So the fun begins on where we should go. Ive been pushing to stay in the Kings Christmas Suite at the Christmas inn in pigeon forge. Hope she will let me choose this place. Just don't think she would be able to handle it for a full week lol.

Awww I really hope her eye clears quickly. I don't like when my kids are sick, I get really frustrated to see them in discomfort so I understand. At the moment my 1yr old has a cold, I'm hoping he gets a better nights sleep tonight. Have a nice visit later with your Dad![]()
Wowsers!!! What a fun idea! I never knew such a place existed! I bet you can't wait! As it will be in October, it' will be such a nice lead up to the Christmas season.
Where are you watching the verdict? HLN?
Valerie is on from 3:00-3:30 my time, and the Arias verdict is @ 3:30 I believe. Guess I can catch both!
Arias hopefully will get the 1st degree murder charge. Fingers crossed.

Wow! I cannot thank you all enough for your kind words and prayers. I told my mom you all sent a good word and she is thankful! Today is my mom's surgery and I actually don't feel quite as stressed as I have been. I think I felt all the good vibes and prayers you all have sent my way!
I am not one to have the "poor me" attitude and didn't mean to come across that way because even when things pile up I stop and remind myself, "It's a Wonderful Life"!!! I feel blessed and have a very supportive family and AWESOME husband and of course all of my MMC family! In reality, things are not that bad but I cannot help the way I feel when my family and fur children are ill and not feeling well and it all piled up on me this week.
Time to put my smart phone to use today and I will try to post from the hospital or I might send word to Made to pass along on here. You don't mind, do you Made?
Thank you everyone for starting my day off with a smile! You truly are the best people in the world!
To all of you here at MMC...

Yep, I just turned HLN on to watch the verdict. Valerie should be an hour long so I'll watch the second half of it on the computer and the verdict on tv.
Just think, you GET to be with your mom! Some people don't realize that that in and of itself is really a blessing for the person who is sick or about to have surgery. Prayers help, huh? We don't think you have the "poor me" attitude. We are family; we understand because many of us have been where you are. I am so thankful that I can come to this place and really bare my heart without fear of ridicule, knowing that even those who don't believe as I do still support me with positive thoughts and feelings. Take care, CAH. We love you.
Christmas-A-Holic, praying moms surgery goes well!
Oh and I am going to try and bake the white chocolate orange cookies today if I have time, I finally got all of the ingredients!
Seawaters, I'm thinking of you and your son. Please keep us posted.
And CAH and CAH's mom, you're certainly in my thoughts today as well.
xmas365, what a tasteless joke that guy made, and when you were doing something nice, too! Even though he didn't mean offense, he should have thought about what he was saying.
snowflake22, if you can't find out what kind of bug that is, just call it a "snallygaster." Where I grew up, that was the word for any UFB (unidentified flying bug).
Ryan, enjoy being school-assignment-free!
There really seems to be a lot of things popping at once around here. Thank heaven we have each other to share it with.
