I forgot to tell you we got our gizmo at Wal-Mart for $10 or $15. We have had it for at least three years, and it works great.

what is a gizmo???? I always thought it´s a Gremlin :D

glad there is only one day of working before the weekend.....I´m just really, really tired these days...must be the wintery weather we have over here

By the way, what did you drink before you began liking hot tea?

As a hot beverage? Nothing, because I don't care for coffee (and never have ... don't hate me, Binger!). At home, I'd make hot cocoa if I wanted a warm drink.

I take a splash of milk and a spoonful of sugar with my hot tea, thank you. My brand of choice is PG Tips. It's strong British stuff in a pyramid-shaped teabag that brews in a little over a minute, instead of 3 to 5 minutes, like most teabags. And their decaf is pretty much indistinguishable from their regular.

Evening everyone, just stopping by quickly . I am very unsettled tonight after what happened in London today. Not sure if you all seen the news but there was an incident where a soldier was attacked and murdered near his barracks. It is being treated as a major terrorist attack here in the UK. We are all on edge and deeply saddened about what happened to this poor man, details of which are too horrific to go into.

Prayers needed.

What a horrible thing to happen - I saw a brief snippet about it on the news while I was waiting at the vets' office this afternoon. My prayers continue. {{{HUGS}}}

Who ever once said pickle juice gets rid of a leg cramp, you are so wrong! All it did for me was make me feel sick, and I still have a crampy leg,,,,, any other suggestions?

Ouch! Stretching the muscle that is cramping in the opposite direction and keeping it warm work for me. A lot of times walking around will work the cramp out. I hope you are feeling better today!

The ducks: they sound so cute! I wonder where they came from (and don't say, "Eggs," Made), LOL!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I've been out all morning at the awards ceremony at school. Jacob's awards were at night for the upper school, and lower school awards were this morning. Elizabeth got the honor roll trophy, the subject award for spelling, the certificate of national fitness, and the 6th grade Citizenship Award! We were so proud of her!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Congratulations to Jacob and Elizabeth!

Good Evening from Norway!
Hope everybody is doing fine ♥

Good afternoon, Solice! It is so good to see you. I hope all is well with you and yours!

Today things are looking brighter. I got some unexpected GOOD news today concerning the same matter that threw me into the blues earlier this week, when I received bad news. You folks must have been praying with me! :p

Absolutely! I'm glad things are looking brighter for you!!!

I wish you the same for you, track!

Good afternoon, MMC!

Good news at the vets' office today - Mouse is doing good!!! Her meds have been reduced. She is to finish the bottle she has and then a week after that, I take her for another check-up. So relieved! All the weird things she has been doing of late can be attributed to the side effects of her meds. Thank you all so very much for the prayers - they are working!!!

In other news, I found some good items for the store at an estate sale this morning and the prices were awesome! Love sales like that - kind of makes up for when I buy something and find out later I spent way too much for the item. That happens a lot - this job is a never-ending learning experience.

For some reason I am exhausted. I need to get a bit of work done yet, though, so I had best get going.

Have a most MERRY night and be safe!!!
