You know something, here's another thing to consider, especially if someone has sprayed any kind of chemicals on their lawn or bushes and then Harlow walked there and when she got home, she cleaned her paws or something like that...

No, not yet...at first it seemed normal, in the sense a dog will sometimes throw up if they have an upset tummy.

Keeping a very close eye on her, though. I need to make sure she drinks plenty.

my best friend´s french bulldog had that once, too....she ended up going to the vet and the baby got some infusions...fluids and stuff, cos she couldn´t keep anything inside....praying for baby harlowe that she will be fine asap!!!!

Thanks, yep always a possibility. Right now, only half of our development has grass, but she did walk on some.

Without being too descriptive, the appearance frightened me.

my best friend´s french bulldog had that once, too....she ended up going to the vet and the baby got some infusions...fluids and stuff, cos she couldn´t keep anything inside....praying for baby harlowe that she will be fine asap!!!!

Harlowe was very sick a few years back, and we almost lost her. She was in the emergency hospital overnight, and then at a vet hospital for over a week. They couldn't pinpoint what caused her problems, they did many tests & biopsies, etc. they diagnosed it as an unknown liver problem, basically. She has been on meds ever since, and had normal blood work results just two months ago, so that's good. She has regular check-ups. One of the most scary week's of my life. I always get scared of her getting dehydrated, because that's what caused her to have to stay over night in the ER. She was throwing up so much, she got lethargic and dehydrated.

Oh yea, were looking forward to this road trip! When are you guys heading to the Smoky Mountains? Is that a camping vacation or are there some other things to do there?

The particular week is still being negotiated. We have a couple birthday parties, Vacation Bible School, and the play that my daughter is in to squeeze in. But Nancy assures me that, when the week is decided upon, it'll be a Friday-through-the-next-Sunday trip!

I don't sleep well on the ground; too old and creaky. We'll stay at my mom's place in NC. There's lots to do, including whitewater rafting & river tubing. Plus, we usually cross over into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, TN for Dollywood and other stuff.

I love it there!

Happy Tuesday everyone. This is a big day in Christmas history. On this day in 1942, Bing Crosby first recorded "White Christmas" for the movie "Holiday Inn', (great movie).

My mom is back in the hospital with more complications from her cancer. She has been there since Wednesday. Not sure when she will get to come home. It is not looking good.

Nasty hot weather is now here. We are looking at highs of 81-82 the rest of this week. Still looking forward to vacation 6/26 - 7/4. Once that is over, I'm ready for fall.

The storms are over for now - rather scary flash in the house (interior room with no windows!) that coincided with a crack of thunder outside. It doesn't appear that anything was hit and I didn't smell anything burning - thank God for surge protectors!

Harlowe is resting near me, now. She drank a little, and ate a few bites of food. I didn't let her have too much, but I was glad to see her interested & get a little something in her stomach.

Good afternoon friends...I'm still on baby watch as my daughter was due on May 23rd. I was sad to see that Snowflake's little Harlowe is under the weather and that mgramsey's mom is having a rough go with cancer.
Just want you all to know that you are in my prayers and I hope tomorrow is a better day for those who have a particular struggle today.
