Yes, time once again to head for the coast for final work in anticipation of the rental season which starts on June 16. Need to rush those final preparations to completion!
As such, a Countdown volunteer will be needed for this Saturday and Sunday mornings, June 8th and 9th.
As usual, someone's chance for fame and fortune.
....Well, maybe just fame.
(And...um...maybe not even that.)
Oh well. It's usually fun anyway!
First come -- first trap.......er, served!
The count:
Days to the Season: 160
Days to Christmas Day: 202
Day after tomorrow, Folks -- the 200-day Christmas Day Milestone!
(Holy Hollyday, Batman!)
Still a bit cooler than usual yesterday but no additional rain fell.
That could all change if that tropical storm crosses our state. We shall see.
Right now, we show 67 degrees here on our trusty back door temperature-taker.

(Oh! One more incentive for any Countdown volunteer. They will get to post for the 200-day and 199-day marks!)

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!
Today is Nancy's birthday, and I don't have a thing for her. Uh oh! Actually, we've spent all of our time planning a surprise 70th birthday party for my mom this Saturday. We're having a crab boil for Nancy at her mom's tonight, and I'll take her out next week for her birthday. I did at least get her a card telling her how much I appreciate all the effort she's given for mom's party. That'll have to do, for now.
It's supposed to rain like crazy for the next couple days, but we could use it. I just hope it's cleared for mom's party this weekend.

Hello 
Today is going to be mostly cloudy with a high of 67 degrees. Lots of rain heading our way too over the next couple of days.
I just got back from my morning walk. I have a couple of more hours before I need to be at the doctors office to continue my training. I have a few things I must get done before I leave so that everything runs smoothly around here later tonight. I am going to do a few chores, including a couple of loads of laundry and I also want to prep dinner. I'm going to finish my cup of coffee and get started.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's supposed to be a cloudy day here with a high near 80. I was going to run down to the south side of Indy this morning but gas is up to $4.23 a gallon so I'll just stay home and play around the apartment. I also need to go through the grocery ads and make out my menu for next week. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!
