Hey everybody! Hope yall enjoyed your Thursday! TGIF, baby, TGIF! I don't know about yall, but I can't wait for quitting time tomorrow afternoon....although I have to work late tomorrow night....after that...I 'm hoping to get some time off. I was supposed to get a couple of days this week, but things kept coming up.

Beautiful weather here! Upper 80's, slight breeze, and just a few clouds. Martin time is coming up soon.

I'm off...see yall later tonight!

Good evening! How is your evening going? Mine is pretty uneventful. The family and I are just hanging out in the hotel room. We figured we would hang around here tonight, since the rain was supposed to hit around 1, but then it never did - every time we checked the radar, it looked like rain, but then it never came. Now, they're saying around midnight. We're supposed to get around 4 1/2 inches of rain in 8 hours. At least most of the time we will be sleeping. There will be a lot of flooding and there is a small tornado watch.

As for tomorrow, I am not sure what we will do. I think we will take the kids bowling. They have an arcade here too, so we will probably let the kids play there as well.

Well, I am off to read some more of the boards - one nice thing about being stuck in doors - I can get caught up on MMC some!

Enjoy your evening! I'll check back in later! :-D

Hi guys! Miss you all and hope you're doing well! Been busy with school and watching hockey...which might not last much longer if my Penguins lose tomorrow! Ugh!

I will check in soon!

Hey girl! Nice to see you ;-)

You are missed here!

But we completely understand that school comes first =]

Hope all is well!!

Glad you checked in, Jennifer. I know how hectic school can be, especially the last few days. Hope you can rest A LOT this summer. Are you going to attend summer school?

Brent, Crown needs someone to fill in for them. You always do such a great job. What you could do, if you are so inclined, is type up the posts during a weekend and just post them one day at a time when that particular day arrives. Don't you just love it when someone tells you how to do something and even volunteers you for the job, LOL?

I had a dental appointment this morning. I am not sure about anyone else here at MMC who has been through chemo and/or radiation, but I have found that I am reacting differently to dental work. I feel exhausted afterwards, and the injections and the actual dental work appear to be harder on me. Not sure why.

I went over to our parish to work with Father Aurturo, a visiting priest originally from Spain, but now from Jerusalem. Several of us are taking turns teaching him English. One person is working on conversational English, homily English (helping him with his "sermons"), and English grammar. I am helping him with translating information about the various pilgrimage spots in and around Jerusalem, including quite a bit of history. Today, I worked with him on the Church of the Nativity. Each of us work with him about an hour a day. He wants to improve his English so that when he goes back home, he will be better able to communicate in English, since that is the language used when he conducts "tours" around Jerusalem. Tonight, I will type up info on the Mount of Olives. If I have time, I will try to get ahead on the other church-related tourist spots. I will check in a little later this evening.

That's very nice of you guys to donate your time to help Fr. Aurturo. I'm sure he appreciates you all.

Hope you feel better after a good night's sleep.

That's awfully nice of you to help the father out. When are you going to come teach me English?

Hope you feel better in the morning!!

Woah!
Let's hold the horses on the need for a volunteer.

That tropical storm is supposed to wash out a good part of the weekend so I have tentatively postponed my trip over to the coast to next weekend.
(Cutting it close as our first renters arrive a week from this Sunday but I can't go over there during the week.)

a long and busy day here, lots of rain as well. My son has moved out of the tent and into the basement, reluctantly, but it is dryer inside!
We are leaving for home a day early at my mom's request so will be heading back on Saturday.
Tomorrow, my sister, my mom and I are going shopping and out for lunch.
But for now, I am going to bed!
Good night everyone

Good evening!
Hectic day for me. I am sleepy and need to go to sleep. I just wanted to pop in quick. I hope everyone is well and had a great day.
"See" you tomorrow!
Goodnight, pleasant dreams

Goodnight, friends!!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Today is Nancy's birthday, and I don't have a thing for her. Uh oh! Actually, we've spent all of our time planning a surprise 70th birthday party for my mom this Saturday. We're having a crab boil for Nancy at her mom's tonight, and I'll take her out next week for her birthday. I did at least get her a card telling her how much I appreciate all the effort she's given for mom's party. That'll have to do, for now.

It's supposed to rain like crazy for the next couple days, but we could use it. I just hope it's cleared for mom's party this weekend.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Happy birthday to her!!!
