I survived my first ever jury duty service!! I was summoned 2x when I lived in Philadelphia but I was excused for being a stay at home mom. It was a murder trial and I wasn't chosen! I am very thankful today!

All I could think about was - how can I focus on a trial if I'll be thinking about being HALF WAY TO CHRISTMAS tomorrow?!?! :)

And for those of you with little ones to shop for - Target's toy clearance began early this year! Lots of toys are 30% off. They go up to 50% and then 70% off. I usually am done most of my toy shopping in July!

Thanks for the info about Target!!!! I'll have to check it out!!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Up and at 'em, up and at 'em! At least that's what I told myself at daylight this morning, time for my exercise. I'm usually a fairly early riser, anyway, but the last few mornings I've been sleeping a little later than normal. Anyway, I finally got moving this morning, and enjoyed my walk/jog. I've been listening to old MMC podcasts while exercising, so that makes the time pass quicker.

And I just realized that I forgot to take my handful of pills this morning, so I have to go back to the house. Can't miss those!

I hope y'all have a great day!
I love listening to the podcasts while walking, now all I have to do is get back to walking while listing to them!
Hope you day was great after you had your daily dose!

Made, I noticed that the sale usually starts here and then a week days to a week later, it hits farther west. (I am a Target clearance stalker) so check it out soon and see... they just put stickers on toys througout the aisles, so ekep your eyes peeled for orange clearance tags!

Good morning, friends!!

Happy Monday!!

Did you see the super moon last night?! Wowza!! When I went to bed, I thought it was stunning but nothing too different from a normal but still beautiful full moon. But, Harlowe woke me up to go out @ 3:30 am and it was "super" amazing at that point!! It was glowing!!!! I couldn't take my eyed off the back drop of tall pine trees by the woods, and the moon radiating above....Breathtaking!!!

It's going to be really hot & humid today, with a high of 87 degrees. Storms moving in this afternoon, some possibly severe tonight.

I need to study today & walk Har before it gets too nasty.

Hope you all have a beautiful day!! Stay cool!!!

((Hugs))

that is another thing we all have in common, we all see the same moon. I thought last nights would have been perfect for Santa and his reindeer to fly over. I was amazing for sure!

What a special experience for him and you. I remember when my brother graduated boot camp. I teared up a lot that weekend.

Good morning everyone,

I've been away for about a week (I flew off to San Antonio, Texas) to go see my son graduate from the Air Force bootcamp... Well, he did it, YEA....and he's now an Airman in the US Airforce.

After they graduated, they have to all stand still untill someone from their family "taps them out", (places a hand on them and then they can move...) Mom was the one to do so and I captured the moment on film, by reaching over top of other people to take the picture and it turned out perfectly. He was all teared up to see us, during the course of the day both him and I were able to walk along sharing with each other both of our experiences from going to bootcamp in the military.

It was wonderful to see him again and we were able to spend 3 days with him while we were there on base. We got to watch them drill, visit his barracks, see what he did, how he did things and meet other families and Airmen; it was a wonderful experience. Today he will fly home to spend time with us before he checks into his base; mom, grandmom and my daughter are picking him up at the airport right about now....

Me, I'm back at work and glad that for awhile everyone is back home (including myself); "There's no place like home, There's no place like home.....)!

Have a good day!

Thanks, Meceka. I love this kind of weather. Just wish I felt better to enjoy it more. Maybe some hot cider will do the trick!

Nice weather you are having - I hope it keeps your heat wave at bay. I pray you are better soon and that your nap refreshes you!

Hey everyone! Long time, no talk! How are you all? I've been quite busy here, working long shifts, busy with the kids, etc., but I wanted to pop in and say hello.

What is new with you all? Nothing is new, per say here. I've missed you all and hope all is well with all you!

Can't believe we're all almost at the end of June already! Counting down the days! Talk to you guys soon!
