Well, four o'clock has come and gone (the time the agency I applied at closes) and I never heard from them. I may be wrong, but assuming I did not get the job. Something will turn up. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes, though. If I hear differently, y'all will know!

Yes, that pumpkin is one in the same.

And they did have a little bit of Christmas out, but there were lots of people in those aisles, so I am not sure if he was able to get photos or not. I'll have to ask him when he gets home tonight.

I ran into the same problem the other day-I didn't want to be the creepy guy taking pictures around the store.

I applied for the job of teaching adults cake decorating, did not hear back so assumed they were not interested in hiring me. Then out of the blue a year later, I get a call wanting to know if I am still interested. Now I am beginning to train for this position and very excited about it.
With a major holiday coming up they may just have put it on the back burner until after that is past.
Don't give up on them yet, you never know!

Doesn't he know the trick yet. You yell fire to get everyone to run away and then take the pictures real quick before you take off running too.

Then when the police question you, you just say you thought the red shiny ornament was a flame!!!! LOL!!!!

I got to talk to a wonderful lady who owns a restaurant called 'Rose Marie's Family Restaurant" http://www.jachall.com/rosemaries/
about a 10 min drive down the road from here.
They do Christmas in July stuff every year and serve a great turkey dinner. This year they are putting Santa on the roof, lights up and have an antique sleigh inside. They are also collecting gifts for a teen homeless shelter and food for the food bank.
I will go down and take pictures when July starts. I told to get on this site and chat with us all! Always great to meet another Christmas fanatic!!

Well I couldn't wait any longer and have put on Home Alone. My first Christmas movie of the year :-)
